Ok let s move on from gigaton please
No!! Play them all so way less show up tmrw!
That means they might play them in Camden!
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......
  • i'm sure it sounds great in there, but over sirius imo it doesn't sound that tight tonight, lots of weird sounding notes, the PA issues, having to start/stop/start whipping, they just sound off through this sirius mix

Maybe people who don't like Gigaton should skip this tour.
I love Gigaton, happy I got most of it at the 3 of 4 Canadian shows I was able to go to.
Hey, I'm with you, but a lot of people commenting in this thread apparently are not.  That's what I was getting at.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

If we get Comes Then Goes I guess it might be worth it.
Agree. Don't know why he won't plat it. Best song on Gig.

6 of last 8 are from Gigaton
It's 2.5 years late...but isn't this corporate sponsored and broadcast gig part of the Gigaton promotion?

(I like gigaton BTW, and loved hearing some of it at Sea.hear.now and ohana last year)

What in the hell is happening? If it sounds this bad in person I would think that Ed would be really pissed by now wouldn't he?
For the record - when Sirius streamed the Phish show from the Met in Philly a few years ago it sounded awful as well.

But on the rebroadcasts that followed, it sounded terrific

Maybe it hits too close to home

Was glad to get most of it at the Ohana encore shows too. Bummer I missed Retrograde. Getting to see Who Ever Said debut was pretty special. I’m glad they’ve been pulling that one out this leg, when it disappeared in Europe I was worried, I think it’s one of their best rock songs in a while.

Yeah Porch sounds weird. Opening riff was off.

Give us the Josh Evans mix!
  • I remember the 2020 show was going to be when people got a first.listen of gigaton live
The wisdom that the old can't give away

How I choose to feel is how I am
  • I think the sound issues have to be sirius related, hell ed fired a guitar tech over the wrong tuning on a guitar. No way he'd be shooting stories if it sounded that way in person.

I think it was "It Ain't Like That", referring back to my recording of it I am doing

I heard two separate riffs.  First, the opening notes of "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love."  Then, a few seconds later, the riff from "Barracuda."

They did both of those for sure I think going by memory, then Mike did like 3 seconds of "It Ain't Like That" (up to the 3rd fret low E string bend) right before Ed laughed out loud

Radio broadcast mixes are always very different from the in-person experience
Yeah, but the first 5 songs sounded pretty good to me.
