Runs are never announced but there will definitely be posters at all the stands inside.

They look great on an individual level. If you don’t own another Mumford, I’m sure you’d love this print for your show. However, I do understand why people feel like they’ve seen this all before.

I’d like to see him move out of his comfort zone for the next PJ poster.

If anyone can grab me a pin at msg I'll pay you for the pin plus buy you a beer at the show tonight! Thanks in advance
  • You don’t need a ticket for the early merch so expecting some flippers. I think the better choice is to do merch right at doors. I’ve done early merch a few times and realized it would have been easier just to queue for doors a bit early and do it then. All the same stuff and higher quantities.

  • Is the new MSG poster any different to the original 2020 version other than that had the original gig date?

I like the horizontal orientation, and individually speaking, I like Mumford's style.

I love how they have a big blurb about how international rates have increased and they upgraded to express air yet they charge the exact same amount to ship domestic!

$20 for shipping in Canada and US seems pretty reasonable. Check out the UK shipping rates 😳
  • It appears PJ has a handle on people selling their fan club tickets for face value and by using the fan to fan ticket exchange  I was wondering people's thoughts on the poster situation.  How does one stop these jagoffs from selliing posters on ebay after the show?  Correct me, but why does each person get the option to buy 2 posters?   A simple fix in my mind would be to pre order the posters via the fan club.  If you got a ticket then you have the opportunity to buy a poster which will be shipped to you after the show.  Then you have a better handle on how many to print.  In addition, you make more money bc how many would people would buy a poster but strike out the day of the show.  This would streamline the process and make sellers and buyers happy in my opinion.

Agree. I checked eBay while standing in the merch line and posters were already listed for $150

  • The merch frenzy is good for the artist AP sales. If they printed enough for everyone and mailed them ahead of time no one would care about the drops, which ultimately is where the artist makes their fee. Artist gets nothing/minimal from the show run.

Yes, well…they could just pay the artists in the first place.

The National has a fan club variant of every show poster. They sell out so it’s not exactly the arrangement we’re looking for, but there’s nothing set in stone about the way the posters are currently sold.

What proof is there that artists aren't paid for their show runs? As i've understood for decades, the artist is hired by a middle person (mrtsurt in this case) on behalf of a band's marketing/merch team. They're paid a flat rate per show to produce x amount of posters per show. The idea that these artists are simply giving the band free posters to sell at shows, and only making money on APs is news to me. I need sources.
