Jesus, only one person in this thread almost got it right..excluding the Supersuckers of course. Sorry, just was never that into them but I did try!
RM
The Supersuckers put on a hell of a live show. I've been fortunate enough to see Eddie Spaghetti (Supersuckers singer and bassist) open for them. You really get to see them in two different lights: first the acoustic country way then the balls out rock your ass kind of way. Their shows are usually no more than fifteen bucks and well worth the experience.
The Crowes are just firing on all cylinders right now. They mix up the setlists, throw in great covers (Don't Do It, Torn and Frayed, Poor Elijah, etc.). Plus the fact that they play smaller venues makes the shows seem very intimate. Seeing them twice in October and am actually more excited than when I saw PJ for two shows back in June.
And if I can add one more live band (even though I haven't seen them in like 6 or 7 years), RATM is like no other concert experience.
Actually, I saw Bruce- Lincoln Financial Field, $159 tickets, and like I said, F--- U2, no I wont waste my time or money. Thanks for the analysis though, Dr.

Nice response - for a 15 year old! And while I appreciate your opinion, responses like this are one reason many fans don't bother with the Pit.
your from chicago and didn't go to summercamp?????
HEH! Been to the last 6 of them in a row....and I'm pissed because, well, we totally WOULD have gone, but we THOUGHT we had to refinance the loan on my house...but we got super lucky - the bank froze our interest rate for the remainder of the loan - and we got that letter AFTER Summercamp. SO if we thought we didn't have to refi, we would have gone. I'm still paying off the stupid RV and expenses on a cc from like 3 years ago. Always a great time though! I went to college in Peoria, so I've been to pretty much all the scamps.
No...actually they were my #3 until I remembered how great Frusciante is live
really? he's the worst guitarist I have ever seen live. and u2 is boring

fuckin' a, bubba. i'll be there. been to every one of them. seeing as i live a little over an hour away, how can i miss it? i'll be bringing my 11 year old boy with me for the second year in a row. can't wait, it's the one weekend every year i look forward to. i'm really excited to see presidents and fishbone.
and to the person that won't be going that mentioned moe. is taking a break after the .down: i've seen on another board that they're going to be playing shows in late january/early february of '09. not exactly a long break, imo. i thought they'd come back with shows mid-summer '09 to start getting ready for moe.down 10. guess i was wrong. cities weren't mentioned, but i'm guessing they'll probably be playing northeast region.
