Obviously you've never seen either live or you wouldn't put them in the same category as Madonna & Elton John - I'll write if off to inexperience! I paid less than $100 for my last Bruce show - in the pit - and he played for almost 3 hours so I think I got my money's worth!
Actually, I saw Bruce- Lincoln Financial Field, $159 tickets, and like I said, F--- U2, no I wont waste my time or money. Thanks for the analysis though, Dr.
Moron. What happens when you ASSume? Can YOU SPELL douche?
i LOVE threads where people get pissed off and call each other idiots over completly subjective stuff like this. the amount of laughs i've gotten here over the years.. i feel like i should pay some of you (but I won't).
I know there aren't a lot of cure fans on this board but if you are into them, they are so amazing live. I saw them twice right before I saw PJ in June and they played 3 hours each time. They switch up setlists like PJ too. On the 2nd night, I heard at least 20 different songs from night 1 (and I believe they played 35 songs each night).

I've been a Cure fan since high school - never saw them live, though. My dad wouldn't let me go to a concert because he didn't like the looks of Robert Smith.

You're an idiot.
And R.E.M. is a great live band. Most people who have bothered to see them live will vouch for that.
