I saw Ziggo Dome retweeted this article.  Anyone able to translate the summary?  Wasn’t sure if it mentions anything regarding the likelihood of the AMS shows proceeding.

They say that for now concertorganistor MOJO are still believing that both shows will go on as scheduled.
Mojo has contacted the PJ agents and managment.
Czech promoter was equally optimistic 😭

Awesome. We’re going to go to a bar in the centre around 6pm if anyone is free before 9 o’clock.
Post what bar when you get there.
  • Just curious, have we heard of any other vocalists having voice problems that also performed at Lollapalooza in Paris?  Get well soon Ed!

People in Amsterdam seem to think the show is happened. Couldn’t believe there were so many people in line for GA already! I know railbirds can get “crazy” or is that normal for European shows. A good 50+ hours before the show?!

That is insane if you ask me, what a total waste of time! Personally not a fan of the 'railbirds', sorry.

Why? Hanging out in anticipation is as big of a deal as the actual show for these people.. it's like going camping on pavement 😅

A lot of people think being on the rail is the best place to be. It definitely is not if you want to hear the band with good sound. And there is a lot of things that get missed because you are so close and focus on the person in front of you. It is personal taste. You could also enjoy the day, go in when there is no line, go to one of the sides, and be 20-30 feet back and have great views as well. If people want to wait for that long more power to them, that’s their deal. I admire their will.

Love it.  Can not believe I traveled all this way for no show.  If Amsterdam happens I’m probably going to pout and then throw a fit in a rage of jealousy.

Really?! 2 days before the show! I very much doubt the shows will be going ahead. I really hope I’m wrong though.

Did cross my mind that Paris should have been the cancelled show.
Probably paid too much to cancel that one.
Just like adding a festival in Louisville which, now makes my St.Louis show the 3rd in 3 days(when was the last time they played 3 shows in 3 days???) Was it for a big festival pay day?🤔 There was absolutely no resson to add Louisville!
Granted it was not a full band on Fri/Sat 1 of Ohana 2021 and the first night was not a full set, but EV did sing 3 nights in a row. Sounded great during the the entire Sun PJ set.

Caught all 4 PJ shows in 2021 and Ed sounded the best since my first two shows in 94 and 95.  Hoping to get two more shows in Amsterdam.

Getting ready to head down to the center.  If you see a wandering, lost looking guy, mid-40s, yellow Pearl Jam Moline shirt, give me a shout.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

So anyone hyped for the Gothenburg 2023 show yet?
Isn't The Boss playing four shows there?
    I SAW PEARL JAM

Only three this time I think. Got tickets for me and my mom.

Wasnt that impressed in 2016 - because I had just come from Berlin where I had seen Neil. Neil Young that is.

Anywho - all the cool artists play Gothenburg. Pearl Jam should get with the program.

That means they'd have to get cool, though.

Figured this would happen, give him a few more days of rest to finish back to back in Amsterdam. Unfortunately I flew to Europe from Texas for the Vienna and Prague shows and I got neither.  At a loss for words now.
Damn this is a bummer.  Wow
