Thanks a lot for the updates! With this thread and listening to the
same songs in parallel I had at least a tiny little bit of live
feeling! Thanks for that! Enjoy the rest of the night and have a great
time in Berlin !

Not only are the setlists shorter, but there are fewer shows as well. Let's hope we still get an occasional "Can't Keep" or "Of the Girl" as potential openers, but doubt it.

I'll definitely continue going to shows but it will be hard pretending a 30% reduction in the setlist from the last 10 years is no big deal ... especially when you know 15-16 of the 22-23 songs will be played every night. The greatest aspect of a PJ show has always been the mystery behind what you will hear ... and now a big part of that is gone. I hope they raise it up to 25 songs a night with fewer repeats but I don't expect it.

It's interesting/funny - I saw the shorter sets coming but I also think ~25 songs is the sweet spot I could still find enjoyable for multiple nights
I'm not going to lie but it is incredibly disappointing to see these shorter sets and lack of variety. I already have a non-refundable plane ticket to Philly so I will go. I will still go to Nashville since it is only a 4&1/2 hour drive but that is it for me. I was trying to find a way out of work to squeeze in OKC and/or Denver but not any more. Still love the band and I'm sure the shows are still great but it is not worth the time, money, and hassle of flying to see them anymore.

No not really. I would not take it that far but can't say I'm not let down though. And I really love Gigaton and was really looking forward to a show packed with songs from it but looks like it's only about 4 songs on the supposed Gigaton tour. I should have gone to San Diego or LA1 because since then it's been no more than 4 songs off it.

Most of us would agree that 22-25 songs Is a fine length of a concert, but like you said, the lack of variety is going to drive down traveling demand.
It’ll still be a great show, it’ll still be worth the cost of the ticket if they’re within a few hours, every time. And at $20/$40, a 10C membership is an absolute bargain, even if it gets you GA for 1 show a year.
No longer, thought, is it worth flights, hotel and an extended road trip. I’m hitting shows pretty heavy this fall since I’ve already had the tickets, but after this run, it’ll be a significant cut back for me if the current setlist format keeps up.

I had a blast at the Phoenix show, but as far as travel for the future it will be based on the location. Don’t really have the FOMO with these shows so far. There may be a song or two I wish I could have seen but so far all of these shows are typical awesome PJ, but don’t really seem to differentiate from themselves. Maybe that will change.
The first encore and 1st two songs of the second encore were always my favorite things to look forward to and those are basically gone as the encore is a couple songs including Alive.
I m glad I m not traveling to see them After seeing these short sets
I have to agree. Only because it leaves no room for other songs. The set will have staples naturally but ive loved the suprise over the years. Just less room for that.
