Just to add actual real life business context to what's about to happen and how these people coming into office are idiots. The bank I work for had been forecasting bp drops over the next 1-2 years, ending up around an expected 2.5-3% fed rate, with an expected 50bp drop in the next 2 quarters. That is no longer the case lol they said nope we're expecting an increase over that time lol. Fucking idiots.Post edited by Jearlpam0925 on0

Nearly 50 years later, the chain has just under 3,000 locations worldwide. In 2023, the company brought in $3.3 billion in sales and has had an average annual sales growth of about 20% since 2019, according to food service consulting firm Technomic.

I love Jersey Mike's....they are still kind of new to my area. We had one in Noblesville 5-6 years ago that closed oddly. I think it was just a little ahead of its time for our area. Now there is another one not too far away from the previous location.
I really don't know how they manage the meat slicer...they do everything upon order and the guy is just constantly changing meats/cheeses and running that thing non-stop. Subway actually started to mimic them a bit but they don't cut to order...they still fill their bins but the meat slicer is now visible in their stores.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

You use quality meats and you don't want to waste them. Plus a good deli moves them out quickly.0 -

It's just odd to me to order an italian sub and the guy has to get out like four meats to cut, then cut cheese, then next guy orders the same thing so here come the four meats again, etc.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

I didn't mean to go off on a tangent...it just seems like an odd method for a somewhat fast food joint. To me as long as the ham was cut that morning and kept cold I am good with it. I don't need to see the guy slice it. Especially after watching him slice it for every fucking person in front of me.Post edited by Gern Blansten onRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)
