And still, the technocrats keep telling people dumb enough or deep enough in denial to keep believing them that AI will ultimately create more jobs than it destroys. I see so many people genuinely thinking that is how it's going to play out, lol. It's quite irrational.

Whenever I hear about someone saying that I know they are selling their AI platform.  That is the only person that believes that bullshit.

Housing bill passed.  It really is laughable.  It won't help anything.  They see the problem but obviously don't want to anger the people that they are supposedly working against.

    Smoke and Mirrors!

    https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/12/us/politics/senate-housing-bill.html

    One of my takeaways...

"Under a new proposed rule spearheaded by Senator Raphael Warnock, Democrat of Georgia, investors who own 350 single-family homes would not be able to buy more, although the rules would not apply retroactively."

What a joke. If you can own that many houses you are a billionaire already.  For effs sake.
I was really hoping this would get some comments and feedback but I guess Iran has all of our attention?

The United States national debt crossed $39 trillion for the first time Tuesday, arriving at the grim milestone less than five months after it first hit $38 trillion in late October—a pace of accumulation that budget watchdogs and academic economists are now calling, with unusual unanimity, “unsustainable.”

How much, exactly, is a “small price” to “pay” to be “tippy-top”?

Sure am glad all those Tea Partiers voted CCOOTWH, eh?

    Stock Markets are going crazy.
What's happening and why?  Because of UAE pulling out of OPEC, the unjustified war in Iran, AI dooming, the utter destruction of Gaza, the invasion and bombing of Lebanon?
