ACL doesn’t make a ton of sense based on the likely early-September tour start.  PJ tends to keep tours to 3-4 weeks, which lines up with ending before Ohana. ACL is the two weekends after Ohana which would push the tour to six weeks.  They’re never out on the road that long at once.
Also, with the Dallas hint in the video,  Dallas + ACL makes less sense than Dallas + an Austin regular show.  Although RHCP did both Dallas and ACL last year.
    2003 - June 15 Fargo
    2005 - Sept 1 George, Sept 8 Winnipeg
2006 - May 9/10 Toronto, June 26/27 St. Paul, July 22/23 George, Oct 21/22 Mountain View
    2007 - Aug 2/5 Chicago
    2008 - June 22 Washington, June 24/25 New York
    2009 - Aug 21 Toronto, Aug 23/24 Chicago, Sept 21/22 Seattle, Oct 27/28/30/31 Philadelphia
    2010 - May 15 Hartford, May 17 Boston, Oct 23/24 Mountain View
2011 - Sept 3/4 Alpine Valley, Sept 11/12 Toronto, Sept 17 Winnipeg, Sept 19 Saskatoon
    2012 - Sept 30 Missoula
2013 - July 16 London, July 19 Chicago, Oct 12 Buffalo, Dec 2 Calgary, Dec 4 Vancouver, Dec 6 Seattle
    2014 - Oct 16 Detroit, Oct 19 St. Paul, Oct 20 Milwaukee
    2015 - Sept 23 (Colbert)/Sept 26, New York
    2016 - Apr 28/29 Philadelphia, May 10/12 Toronto, Aug 20/22 Chicago

Yeah, some major acts at the Moody center this year so no reason to think that Austin cant get their own arena show

ACL is so far off from this tour timeline. They could take a couple of weeks off then hit it I guess but seems a bit odd.

Whatever they do I hope they follow what Robert smith is doing and not just throw their hands up and act like they don’t have a choice, like Springsteen did.

Would be crazy for them to play Dallas and Austin without a Houston show, though.  Might be the end of the rope for Houston fans on here lol.

Wondering if KC is in the mix
Was thinking it'd be a great stop between Noblesville and Dallas. But with Philly in the mix, I'd have to assume they'd continue east after Indy.

If Dallas and Philly being are both on this tour it is making me wonder what route they are taking. So many miles between them.

    Austin > Dallas > KC > Minneapolis > Chicago > Indy?
Can anyone verify what cities the 2003 shows are in that playlist? Seems odd if it’s only Dallas, Chicago, and Indy in that playlist.

Music Midtown in ATL. I hope they don’t play it again. May not even have it with the gun issues but who knows.

That would make more sense. I was just basing my comment on the earlier rumor that the tour was starting in Minneapolis.

Would be nice if they made up the Raleigh show on the way from Philly to Dallas......

Also, I think we get an announcement soon.  They wont let the hype from this teaser marinate for more than a few days without striking.

European schedules have always been a total mess, I think some USA legs too. They fly in private jets anyway.

They might, but the equipment goes on a truck.

Maybe they'll just do 2 short legs. One stretching from MN thru Philly. Then another from Ohana eastward to ACL.

Playlist is MSP, Indy, Dallas and Chicago.  The video clip has a quick flash of Philly skyline as well as a picture of an ACL flag at the end.

No reason to clip the 1 second shot of the Philly skyline without trucks or stage in if they don't plan to include that.

How long of a wait are we in for. A couple of days? A week or two? A month?

They should announce it on Tuesday at 2:15pm ET and call it the Baby Handcuffs Tour, but I’m guessing we have a month to wait.
Found: Soundgarden Hyde Park DVD (Thank you for the gift!)

Hopefully this week we'll hear something. I feel like it's close. Normally, I wouldn't be stressed about specific dates because I'd make it happen regardless. But I already have non-transferable/non-sellable tickets for a couple shows at Red Rocks right around that time. Might be limited on the number of shows I can do.
