can pj even make any money from a 9 stop arena tour? This whole thing is so weird. Has to be bigger but no leaks other than the nine, crazy

Even with a conservative 9 shows, $35 price point and ~3,500 prints you’re looking at over $1.1 million, not including stickers/shirts/everything else.

Won’t be surprised if a split leg tour (early fall, mid-winter) is part of the plan, but they will announce segments at a time to ensure most of us grab tickets when available vs planning ahead for the full amount of dates they intend to play.

I doubt they'll do mid-winter, but I can see them do something in May, once the NBA and NHL go into playoffs.

Apparently part of the reason why Columbus had that 2010 show was the local NHL team's failure to make the playoffs. I had heard PJ also had Dallas and State College booked that same date. (5/6/2010.)
State College did have a hold.  Dallas probably not since that wouldn't make any sense logistically.

    9 shows.....WTF

Can somebody here do me a favor? Can somebody here be so kind to look up just how many shows Pearl Jam has played in the USA since 2010? Not including Bridge shows, or Vedder solo. How many full blown Pearl Jam shows has there been IN THE USA since 2010? USA only!  Including 2010.
    If anyone can, much appreciated.
If not? Then just tell me to look it up myself! hahaha

Would be interesting if all the gaps and off days are on account of an older, legendary co-headliner
Any insight here on if this is something that’s actually may happen or are you just wondering?

There’s a lot that would make more sense about the two night stands and the very limited run if that were to be the case.

The coheadliner that I think you reference has mentioned working with a couple of friends on a sustainable tour for 7 or 8 months as of Nov 2022 and was looking for summer venues earlier this year.

Perhaps they placed the holds and decided to go forward either way with or without coheadliner and are waiting for a yes/no from possible coheadliner.

curious if there’s anything more than theory here. Mine is strictly wondering out loud based on what’s known.

If the co-headliner being inferred is who I think it is, I think there was a better chance of them playing Ohana than touring indoor venues.

Maybe but the timing is off for Ohana.

that’s the other factor is that I expect Farm Aid would be the end of that person’s possible tour which is expected to be September 23rd.

In that scenario, they might split post Austin with one heading towards Vegas for a one off show and the other towards Farm Aid (I’m thinking it may be in Atlanta this year but don’t know, Margo Price plays Nashville next day so it can’t be too far from Nashville and it won’t be any of the venues on the Outlaw tour with Willie either which greatly reduces the list).

In fairness, COVID skews that slightly but agree that average likely wouldn’t exceed 10 if  no COVID.

Average of 2015 - 2019 is 7 shows a year in US which seems about right for them.
