Can only go to Chicago on 9/7 or Indy (Noblesville)? Seen them in both venues before, so that's not a factor. Really struggling with the choice. Any thoughts?
    Do both!
I want to. Like, really really want to. But marriage and kids kills the multi-day PJ road trips I took as a youngin'
In hindsight I was pretty lucky to have my single days coincide with $40 tickets and 50 city tours

Hotel booked.  Lottery submitted.  Tempted to go ahead and book airfare too.  Just doing the St Paul shows.
Same here on all counts. I've found a great deal on airfare. But the flight doesn't get in until 3:30p the afternoon of the first show. Any delays or anything, and I could be screwed.
Try flying in the night before if you can.  I'm flying in on Wednesday night after work.
We were planning on driving originally, as it's just so much cheaper with multiple people. But then we found roundtrip airfare for only $94. The problem being, this airline only flies this route twice a week. So, it's either fly in at 3:30p on the 31st or not at all.

So, technically, can you win GA with 2nd or 3rd priorities if it is truly totally randomized per show?

Like if I enter RES/GA for 3 shows... can all 3 hit for GA if im incredibly lucky?  Or are you eliminated from GA if one hits?
My understanding you can win all 3
Yes - someone could win GA x3 shows, which the people that get shut out completely will love :)
GA is random and not based on seniority. I believe GA will go to those who picked it as #1 first, if there's anything left will go to those who pick dit as #2, and so on. I don't think GA has ever gone passed round 1 though. Odds of that many people not wanting GA are slim to none.

So this is still a rumor thread. So what do we think about Klinghoffer? No mention of him, so perhaps his touring member status will not be continuing? May still be penciled into fall Janes dates I suppose if Navarro can't get better.
words seem so out of place.

As a relatively new member, am I better off just waiting to see what's available on Verified and F2F than trying for a reserved seat? I just don't want to get caught holding the bag for a bad seat if I'm unable to attend. I've attended a handful of PJ shows over the years but new to this process, thanks in advance.
Hello fellow Hoosier - Deer Creek doesn’t really have many bad seats..  If you put in for Reserved/ GA and don’t like your seats, I’ll buy them off you!

Gotcha.  In that case I'd probably drive it if that's still an option.  It seems like delayed flights are a nightly thing on the news now.

Yeah I know, I wasn't asking why.  I was asking to where/what. It doesn't say on Ticketmaster what it goes to, so I was asking.

Oh yeah, I'm all in for Deer Creek, and for all the anti-lawn folks I've had great times in the lawn there! I was more thinking about Chicago or even Texas shows. I've had decent luck on F2F and was thinking about just taking chances there versus a seat in the last row or behind the stage.

Can't wait for September at Deer Creek, I'll be there one way or the other!

If I want to go to all 4 Texas shows, and want to get at least 1 of them GA.

What do you think is the best strategy for order of preference? Austin night 1? cos it's a Monday? maybe less demand.

I've requested GA for all 4, but didn't pay too much attention to my order of preference!

St Paul GA looks larger than normal on the seating chart.  Anyone else notice this?

The worst spots in GA are still better than 80-90% of the arena. Get some drinks before and stroll in leisurely. Lining up hours in advance and potentially defending your turf is for the birds.
I've never put in for GA because of the day long commitment if I were to get it, however, I did put in this time and if somehow I get a ticket, this is the exact approach I'm taking.

Had GA twice last year (LA & MSG).  Both times I walked in about an hour before showtime and got roughly 3 to 4 "rows" in front of Mike and Jeff.

Just seems surprising that they would go on tour these days for 9 shows.

    Home/Away was seven shows.
seven stadium shows. Average 60K people per show. Nine arenas average what, 12K a night. HUGE difference between the two tours.
Definitely a difference, but United Center is over 20,000
Yeah. Xcel is ~15k in the configuration they're showing for this show.
they're going to sell the behind the stage seats I'm sure in the ticketmaster sale. But it's not a large arena, right?
Have you, or others, been there for concerts before? How is it?
18k seats for hockey, plus the floor, not sure about how many lost behind stage if those arent sold
Xcel has very good accoustics in arena of this size

This may have already been answered and I missed it, but I selected both GA/reserved and reserved for St. Paul. Are my odds better by selecting both or am I taking myself out of the opportunity for GA by selecting both? Confusing

$160 per? Yikes. Seems like I spent $80 per 8-10 years ago. Oh well. This 50+ year old can't justify it.

Kids in college and the current cost of bread/gas/all of the above... That sucks. I'll be sitting these out.

Where are you seeing pending?  I got a confirmation e-mail, but nowhere on this site or Ticketmaster do I see any type of status. Thanks!

I find there is always room in the back of GA and the view is great ... I don't mind standing but I hate the crush so that's where I try to be.  And I can come and go as I please.

Yeah, I guess that doubles your chances of getting in the door? Probably a riskier maneuver if you're going to multiple shows. You'd be burning a priority, right?
