Lots of PJ songs made their debut in Pittsburgh in 2013.

The Citizens Bank Park rumor has been on going since 2018. Before I get into this… this was never 100% confirmed. This was all just a kinda he said she said scenario. But some reliable sources who are tied with Citizens Bank Park said this was true.

Anyway, for those who don’t know, apparently PJ had two dates on hold the weekend of August 24th that year, which was right in between the Wrigley and Fenway shows in 2018. WMMR and Radio 104.5  in Philly were dropping hints like crazy. I am pretty sure Pierre Robert or Matt Chord (Philadelphia radio DJs) went as far as saying they were hearing strong rumors of the shows happening. The all of sudden everything stopped and all the rumors stopped and when the dates were announced, no Citizens Bank Park show. The rumor was it didn’t pan out due to logistic reasons and the way the Phillies schedule was that year. Again… this never 100% confirmed. This was just the rumor/story going around at that time and what people were saying who were in with people tied to citizens bank park. I do hope it happens one day though

One a lighter note… WolverineKills (a Facebook page run by a guy who leaks tour/band info) posted yesterday PJ are rumored to be announcing a tour in the coming week. He is usually right with his predictions and info… keyword is usually though lol.

2017: Temple of The Dog Philly 2

So sad and so true!  This comment literally made me laugh out loud.  I have already accepted the fact that  I will likely have to get on an airplane to see them this coming tour.  But you never know.  They seem to like South Carolina.  It has now been two decades since Atlanta got a non festival show and have played in South Carolina three times in that span.
    00 - Atlanta                                            10 - MSG I&II

PPG Paints is fairly booked around the time of the Chicago shows.  Not many dates it could be if true.
    Sep 8 - Eric Clapton
    Sep 9 - Duran Duran
    Sep 10 - open
    Sep 11 - open
    Sep 12 - Springsteen
    Sep 13 - open
    Sep 14 - Springsteen
10 is rumored Indy show.  13 they won’t break down the Bruce setup in between.  That leaves the 11th
I doubt they play Pittsburgh on Sept 11 if Noblesville is Sept 10.
If the Chicago Sept 5/7 dates are true I think they’re taking a night off between all shows.  It wouldn’t make a ton of sense to have a night off between shows in the same city, but play back to back nights in different cities.
    2003 - June 15 Fargo
    2005 - Sept 1 George, Sept 8 Winnipeg
2006 - May 9/10 Toronto, June 26/27 St. Paul, July 22/23 George, Oct 21/22 Mountain View
    2007 - Aug 2/5 Chicago
    2008 - June 22 Washington, June 24/25 New York
    2009 - Aug 21 Toronto, Aug 23/24 Chicago, Sept 21/22 Seattle, Oct 27/28/30/31 Philadelphia
    2010 - May 15 Hartford, May 17 Boston, Oct 23/24 Mountain View
2011 - Sept 3/4 Alpine Valley, Sept 11/12 Toronto, Sept 17 Winnipeg, Sept 19 Saskatoon
    2012 - Sept 30 Missoula

    2014 - Oct 16 Detroit, Oct 19 St. Paul, Oct 20 Milwaukee
    2015 - Sept 23 (Colbert)/Sept 26, New York

Yeah I saw that and said I would consider driving all the way to Pittsburgh from Illinois for $65 tickets. There is other cool stuff In Pittsburgh to make the trip worthwhile.

To post a “teaser” on the first with no other “teasers” the following 3 days is a bit odd when it comes to potentially promoting a tour announcement.

Hoping Indy-Det-Cincy(or another big Ohio city)-Pitt. That would put Pitt at sept.16.

It'd be wrong if they skipped Ohio again.

It'd be more wrong if they did PA and Indy AND skipped Ohio.

Meanwhile, Columbus gets Brit Floyd almost every year, it seems. They're a very good band, but I'd trade 1-2 of their visits for a PJ visit.

(Seriously, go see Brit Floyd if they tour near you. I wasn't expecting much, but got blown away.)

I have no idea what to think right now. Kind of a dick move for Santos to say what he did if it isn’t imminent.

This makes a lot more sense than hopping from Indy to Philly. If the Pittsburgh rumor is real, then they have to hit Detroit, Cincy, Cleveland and/or Columbus.

That must be some kind of Metallica contest for it to be announced on the radio.  What sort of contest will it be?  A look alike contest?  I never cared much for Metallica or contests involving Metallica either.
