Happy for everyone who’s getting a show. Honestly, 5-10 years ago I’d be over the moon and planning trips. I just don’t have that feeling anymore. The two shows I seen last year were incredible, possibly the best of the tour. But that “FOMO” feeling is gone. The anything can happen tonight feeling is gone. If Philly happens to be arena , I’ll be there. But no chance I’ll go to a baseball stadium and MIA.
Yup, 25% shorter shows and days off in between makes it much harder to justify the travel
But at least it won't be like this current Bruce tour with show after show the same...
Eh, maybe I'm recalling wrong - but it seems to me when they put out the warnings to re-up your membership, its at least several days, if not a week or two before an announcement comes.
Oh and.... Chicago shows please!
Agreed, way too quick. I'm thinking tour announcement Monday.
Shhh! This is crazy talk.
You taking the wife to see a Notre Dame game before the Noblesville show,
Whoa. What an idea
Not at home that weekend. Just looked.
Check and see if they are offering the tour of the stadium that weekend. On the way back from the Wrigley show in 2013 we stopped overnight in South Bend and we were able to get tickets for the stadium tour. We got to see the locker rooms, luxury boxes, all the behind the scenes areas and get out on the field.

You think the fellas are going to follow The Cure's lead and get rid of dynamic pricing, lower their ticket prices, and cancel tickets that show up on reseller sites....?

We won’t know for sure until the first two shows. No one could have guessed the new format for shows last year. But I doubt the variation goes away. Might not be on the level of past tours but I can’t see them playing the same set every night.

The cure really proved that at the end of the day, the artist has complete control. We’ll see. I lost a lot of respect for Bruce with the way he handled the tickets for this tour.

If anything The Cure followed PJs lead. I don't recall any other band using Fan 2 Fan face value before. They didn't have dynamic pricing though they did do the charity "platinum" seats. The tickets were all the same price anywhere in the building and all around $100ish.. the Cure tickets I have seen are double that for the closer half of the seats and the cheapest are still about $100ish.

A lot of people seemed to get pissed at Bruce this tour. Guy tours for 40+ years keeping it reasonable and people turned on him quickly the first moment there was a price hike.

Amen on the Bruce thing... normally I would see multiple shows, have seen almost 100.. but now it's one in my hometown (San Diego) cause he hasn't been there with full band since 81.. but I'm not excited about it like PJ...pJ will not have static sets like Bruce... never

We muist have been looking at different PJ tours last year, cause I saw PJ Premium (which was platinum) and dynamic pricing.

Not a big Bruce fan regardless but that RS interview made him sound like a dick about the prices. Just didn’t seem on brand.

He certainly didn't do himself any favors in that interview. He'd have been better off saying nothing.

Just hoping there's a show within just a few hours drive from KC. Otherwise, I'm out.
Hey man, I'm in Springfield. St Paul, Milwaukee, Chicago, Noblesville, Dallas and Austin are all on my radar. No excuses.
On my radar? Sure. Harder to get away with a newborn, though. The closer, the better the odds for me!
My dude...KC is 6 hours from Twin Cities!

Good thinking! The stadium tour is great and going down the tunnel to slap the "Play Like A Champion Today" sign is (nearly) akin to the ivy at Wrigley. Super inexpensive way to burn a good chunk of a day.

I recall getting stuck at the UC in 09. The busses were all filled, couldn’t get a cab, and we missed the blue line. We decided to start walking back and shit got sketchy after a few blocks. we hooked up with another couple who were in the same situation. Pretty sure a cab eventually picked us up and got us back to our hotel safely. The cab driver told us, “you do not belong out here walking these streets” Good times. Lol
Same thing happened to us in Rome. Can situation was NUTS. We started walking hoping we. Like find a cab outside the cab line. Ended up finding another couple that were at our hotel doing the same thing. Got sketchy but worth it for that concert
Hahaha, Rome was nuts. Wife, daughter and I ended up walking all the way back to the hotel that night. Not ideal...but what a story.
Such a great show though!! Felt bad for the people that had cancellations prior to our show, but so glad EV got better. It was a LONG walk

I think Wednesday is the day. WMMR in Philly has “big” concert announcement Wednesday at 11:00 is the time I believe they said
Could be, but the threshold for what a lot of these radio stations consider “big” is incredibly low
