Yeah, I'm not sure I'd be super comfortable with shows in May. I might have still gone, masked, but it would be a tough decision. I'm hoping that by September, things are better than right now (we are starting to do more, but aren't back to "normal" comfort levels yet).

Doesn't look like any of the shows on the May leg are requiring any kind of vax card or a negative test that I've seen either. I'm flying out to the LA shows.  I'll probably bring my vax card just in case.

That's what it is for most people. They can say "I was there" and people can respond "cool". It's only your own memory and sure, it's fun to look back on. I could just never justify spending that kind of $$.  But those who can do it will do it and I guess that's all that matters

The Apollo is going to be more Oracle secret show than Vic. I firmly believe this.

Advice for those in the east... if you are still in the back, uppers or rear. I would F2F your tickets now if you plan to upgrade.. I realize that the sample size is CA but most likely when the shows get closer there will be so many ticket dumps and better F2F dropping all the time, you may get stuck holding your old tickets. I upgraded my SDs, thinking its been close to 100% sold for a long time and had only about 40 premiums just before the F2F. I put mine up a week ago, Sec C row 20, not bad seats and In the Best seats available list never dropped below 10th. TM has dropped and sold 100s of previous Premiums and new face values in better locations that mine are still not sold. I might have to eat them of F2F my upgraded seats and sit in the Cs .. Just an observation.
This. As a matter of fact, I think we see many people needing to "downgrade" on the day before/of the CA shows because they can't sell their old ticket. So you either sit in the better seats and eat the others, or you sell the seats you can, and sit in the crappier ones.
I've accepted that I'll be eating a few but I think it's worth it since the better seats are still below market value. Next time I'm not going to bother with the lottery though except for super high demand shows like MSG
For example, I have a single GA for PHX. I also have a decent side seat. If the side seat doesn't sell, I am essentially paying $250 for the GA seat. I probably would have done that anyway if there was stubhub resale. Or the market for GA is pretty liquid so I could give up and sell that and sit in my side seat for $125. First world problems...
Honestly!!!!! Is GA worth $300 (Canadian).   Absolutely it is.

2020 this did not happen, and the routing now is very similar…two shows and only one eligible for F2F. Camden is the comparable to Baltimore (as MSG has no face value option) and there are a far fewer “upgradable” seats in Camden vs Balt. And there was very little exchange activity for Balt in 2020, and the postponement was less than two weeks from show date. For us in the east wanting a  multitude of shows, it involves a couple grand to fly out west and risk losing most of that on a potential Covid cancelation.

I just mean in terms of setlist. There will be contest winners but also Howard Stern, Sirius execs, VIPs, etc. I don't see it becoming an epic, rarity-filled night.

i think it will be very good, but ive heard people pretty much offering their 1st borns for a ticket

I called in a few favors, not anticipating going ....if it happens it would be a major I OWE YOU one, but wont involve any extra cash.

Friend of mine greased security at PJ20 to get us up front, i think it was $200 from him for both of us, he was hammered and offered for me....so I had to go

I bought two killer MSG seats for $7,500. Best seats in the house. 9/11 in NYC and I cannot miss it.  Taking my biggest client so its a write off for my business and not a dollar comes out of my pocket.  No brainer.

Not true unfortunately but totally plausible. You are talking about people that can drop 10K on a wine dinner or 100K for a week at the beach.  It is chump change to some.  Bragging and being a douche is a whole other conversation.

Im in NYC Construction Management....Im well aware of wining/dining, charity events etc....I drop a pretty penny ( companies dime), I get it.....Its just a Value assessment. For $7500.00 you could see a bunch of shows in Europe/ South America, Plane Hotel all the fixins included amongst some of the most beautiful locations in the world...instead, MSG " The most overrated Arena" in the world owned by a scumbag & his Minions who work for him. Oh I go all the time, but i dont get caught up in the racket of MSG....Most times i went to see PJ There, there was a better show before or after that I attended in either Hartford, Boston, Philly, NJ

the best part of the MSG shows are all the drinking/eating options before or after the show

Toronto pair behind stage in section 115 have been up for a bit  https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/10005794A14135ED

Avoid those section 121 still as I believe they still just error out and you can charges and then reversals on you card

LOL you get it and I totally agree. I agree that the MSG hype is overblown. I do not even try any more. I do not necessarily agree that it is dumb to overpay because you could do more with the money.  If it makes you happy and you can afford it, good for you.

AND really glad to see fans getting good tix in the F2F at reasonable prices.  Hope the same is true for the September shows.

Oakland night 1 seat in 127, row 11 up. Work trip won't let me attend - this was a fan club seat that I have to let go. Great seat if you are looking for a single - similar seat in Lexington a few years back.
