    Go to guitar store that is a fender dealer & put a deposit on it

    If I was coming off the high of the Noblesville concert right now, I probably would find my bank account $2K lighter and a sweet guitar heading my way ... right now I'm in a state of confusion. 

    Nice to see Fender gave it a proper case.

    I see them in stock on Fender's website right now.

    I'm wondering how the build quality compares to the master built CS version? I was expecting the MIM to cost more given the relic detail and that it comes with a nice hardshell case.

    Im excited about he nitro finish on the body and neck, the custom voiced pickups, the road worn relicing, the bone nut, the slab rosewood fingerboard, and the treble bleed circuit. Nice appointments for sure.

    This puppy is going right on the wall in my main living room.  I don’t think I’m gonna suffer scratch anxiety with this instrument  =)

    How did people get them before the Sept 12 release date?

    Edit: sweetwater to the rescue. They were sold out at PJ.com less than 5 minutes after the email went out!

    I would expect the master built to be better build quality as more man hours go into it.  Likely negligible though.

    Sweetwater has them! I'm incredibly excited. A rep did call me to warn me that I *might* get it by early 2024. That's ok--I have something to look forward to!!

    OMG! I got one! I'm picking it up in few hours. I'm really surprised, as I'm in Toronto Canada and was told Canada wouldn't get any until the U.S. received their allotment. They said it would be 8 to 12 months.
    I had no intention of buying another Strat (this is my 6th). I was actually saving up for a Firebird or a Flying V. However I'm still upset with myself for not buying the Pete Townshend SG when it came out years ago. So I figured I better get this one and not repeat my mistake with the PT SG.

    I'm on the hunt for a second Gary Clark Jr. SG at a reasonable price... you know... just because.

    I am very glad that this model is a bit too "road worn" for me. I've been wanting a strat for a while. I'm generally a Gibson dude.

    Any recs on specific used or new strats I should consider. I really would rather not go anywhere over 2k, but I also want a nice sounding and playing guitar. I currently have a 70s Les Paul Custom, a newer Gretsch, and a Gibson Sj200.
