    Finally decided to go for it and ordered one. Thomann.de has them in stock currently (reliable online store for those inside EU). Paid 1733 euros. Should be here in about a week. Can't wait.

    Finally after placing an order last September my order is in! I don't know if Australia was at the back of the queue, or maybe just Perth, or maybe just my local store, but hopefully this weekend I will be able to pick it up!

    And maybe I'll actually get around to learning to play guitar this time!

    Thanks. This thing is great. Love the neck, so smooth. About time I got a strat, been wanting one for a while. Now I’ve got an SG, Les Paul, Telecaster and this. I think enough for a while.

    Careful.  During Covid I got into the line of thinking where now I need an SG, a PRS, a hollowbody, a jazzmaster, need a Gretsch, a Taylor 12 string, etc…. There will always be more.

    This guitar is still one of my favorites to play, even taking away the "McCready" from it.  It's my go-to strat.  Everything feel great.

    What pickup height are people finding to be the sweet spot with these?

    I'm currently running mine at the "vintage style" strat fender recommendation which is 3/32" on the bass side and 2/32" on the treble side.

    Anyone going with anything different?

    I've never dabbled with pickup heights before.  Do you base measurement from the top of the pick up to the flush side of the guitar?  I'm always interested in learning more, so if you have any good links on setup, please share them
