I am actually going to try & get this, never gone for a limited edition vinyl release
It shouldn’t be difficult at all to get even living in Australia & going through the store?

Well then I don’t know
the print run is high and if it’s a store that participates in RSD then I would think you still should. Unless for whatever reason they don’t ship a proportionate amount to Aus.

Famous last words. But I'm hoping we will all be okay, Alive 12" was easy enough. Think something went a bit funny with Unplugged and pressing amounts were reduced or distribution problems.
I recall Easy Street being really expensive on the day whereas nowadays its easily available and a lot cheaper.

You shouldn't have a problem. Most stores post what they have in stock the day before which should give you an idea who has it.

Just noticed that the RSD RHCP album is still in stock some places. At 5,000 copies and it’s still available. My assumption at 20k Lo2L it’ll be even easier.
generally I think in the forum, record collectors greatly overestimate the general demand for this kind of stuff.
I think the key is more finding what stores have the extra copies as they will be there
no idea how it works overseas but I’m not planning on standing in line for it

That's one I missed that I wish I hadn't. Can you share your links? I can't seem to find anywhere for anything close to retail.

Hmmmmm... The reviews on MerchBar do not look good. Lots of SCAM, fraudulent charges, and canceled and false orders. Anyone have any success with them?

I have. Haven't have a problem shopping with them. Many of their items don't ship to Canada. Items that could ship, smooth sailing.
Alright! Good to know! As always, thanks for the heads up, D! I hope you have a great rest of your week, brother!

Merchbar is legit. I've gotten several things from them just fine over the years. Where the hiccups occur seem to stem from look to be because merchbar is an intermediary for artists official stores or some other fulfillment company, so I'm guessing their stock numbers aren't up to date because its another step between the consumer an official artists store.
I would NOT pre-order this from anywhere. There are going to be 20,000 copies RSD first, then there will almost certainly be a fanclub allotment either 6.10 or 7.10 or thereabouts. And then there will undoubtedly be a standard black vinyl reissue.
There are going to be an obscene amount of these in the wild, like Unplugged.

Being a 'RSD First' release, it should be easy to find a copy. https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/14634
