Going to guess 2,000 pressed and the tone of this thread quickly changing
As mentioned above they probably found some place that could press a smaller number and just went with a generic cover since there was a big delay. Not too long ago before the pressing plants were overloaded they'd do small pressing like this for indie record stores to get some out before the release date, I think they called them test pressing editions even though there could be like 1500 of them.

However many pressed people will get upset but I at least appreciate the effort to get some copies out reasonably close to the release date

Its not a generic cover though. Its designed

Got one! Had to have it. I seem to remember that PJ was pressing 7” vinyls in house? Or was that Hockey Talkter?? Would be cool if this was fresh pressed right there in Seattle. But I’m not complaining, I’ll take minimalist art!! And only $14 and change to ship to Canada!
Wow, first reaction is I'm kinda sick of this. Releasing a vinyl then releasing another "special" limited version to get double the money. I know I know, if you don't like it don't buy it. I won't.
Kinda feels like a test pressing. None of this stuff is limited like vinyl was in the 90s. Everyone is simply cashing in on the wax renaissance.
Would be a really nice gesture if we were permitted to cancel our regular LP orders.
check the status of your order. if it still says "processing" and not "processed" then you can email and request to cancel. they cancelled mine literally within 2 minutes of me sending the email.

4k estimate was spot on. I was way off on how long I thought 4K would last
