Photo on phone works in Chicago - no need for an app. For peace of mind I took a photo of the back but nobody's gone as far as challenging a pic so far.

Depending on your vaccination records, you could also add that info as a card in your Apple wallet (where you can store your tickets as well), but since the photo works I haven't tried anything more than that to prove vax status.
Thank you.  I also took a photo of the back.  I figured as much, but just wanted to make sure I don't run into problems at the venue.

No it's inside. They'll shut the doors and cut off sales at 5:30. Everyone will have to leave and they'll open doors back up at 6:30 for the show. So you'll need to be done with merch purchases by 5:30. At that time you're free to do whatever you want with the merch. No outside sales though.

Still interested in a beanie, vedder long sleeve (2x) or tshirt (2x), or mug if anyone able to and wants to pick it up and mail to Ohio. Can send $ for everything immediately…and can buy you some drinks.

They didn't do that in Newark. My husband and I arrived at 5:30 and waited about an hour for merch. They never shut the line down at all.
I got the last EV olive tee in large as the medium was already sold out by then; that one seemed to go quick

Oh that's interesting. It was described to me that there was a hard cutoff an hour before theater doors opened. So in your scenario the venue never formally cut off merch sales prior to the venue "opening" it's doors?

Newark had two lines to enter the venue. One line went straight to the merch area, which was in a hallway behind the ticket offices. Another line was just to get into the theater, no merch option. The merch line never closed, but as soon as you bought merch, they made you leave the lobby and go back outside the building, and wait in the line to get into the theater at 6:30.

I also wanted the Tivoli shirt in medium. I got the large. It actually fits me fine, not too baggy at all (maybe I've expanded since Covid....) but it is a tad longer than I like. The red show shirt I did get in medium, and it fits perfectly.

Right. We got our merch before 6:30 and just hung out in the theater while people filtered in.
I had told my husband about the cut-off time, so was surprised we were able to stand in line for the hour, get our stuff, have a drink and were in our seats by 7
    It was quite nice actually

Can anyone else verify? I'm on the L and I'm about to arrive oh, but it's 5:28 LOL

Too much Cubs reference for this Sox fan.

Ha, me too. I spent enough on the ticket, so I don't mind not getting any merch.

edit: And I just saw the poster and must have it. Oof.

Edit: More merchandise downstairs for the second round.

Poster is great, no disagreements there.

My debate is grabbing drinks before or waiting in line tomorrow. I hate lines, and love drinks so…

Beacon had the 5:30 cutoff. It’s a small theater with a small lobby. Is the Auditorium larger?

I guess it’s already 6:30 - did they cut merch off from 5:30-6:30?

Damn that’s the new record. I’m guessing they aren’t allotting amounts for the tour poster after doors.

Love the posters but I’m never getting that early. It’s a shame it’s so hard to get one.
