I'm not going to the EV shows, but the Aud is one of if not the best room in Chicago.
In beautiful standards hands down auditorium is tops. Those upper seats though are no joke. Might as well be on the roof.
That’s where me and my buddy were last night. Then, right as Glen came on, an usher came up with printed tickets, said congratulations you’ve been upgraded to a bunch of us in the top of the top. Ended up with aisle seats about 15 rows back from the stage. I’m still stunned. I feel it’s possible Eddie kept that section open and upgraded the worst seats in the house. There’s no way those amazing seats didn’t sell to begin with.
Those might've been the block of 20+ seats that suddenly became available on TM hours before the show. Awesome that you guys got the upgrade!

Didn’t think of that. Either way, still unreal that it happened. Like I said, I’m still in shock. I’ve never been that close to Eddie before, haha.
For Chicago, do they do a bag check for outside food and drink during the afternoon merch sale from 3:30-5:30 in the lobby? or only check bags when going into the show at 6:30. I have a bottle of water and snacks, so just want to plan accordingly. Thanks.
Hitting the merch line straight from work, but I won't have a car to store my stuff. Did anyone buy merch during the early slot, then enter later for the show with their stuff?
Can we get a conformation on the lapel pins and if they are recycling the same 3 colors of gray orange and green?
Thanks
The pics from mrtsurt seem to suggest that 🤔

Official @eddievedder Chicago variant poster, @auditoriumtheatre show with @glenhansard. I
will be dropping 100 artist proofs, 18”x24” signed & numbered
variant, exclusively available in my shop tomorrow Friday Feb 11th
12-1pm EST. Link in bio or go to www.brianfoxstudios.com **Limit 1 poster per household**
The
art deco style was inspired by Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre and the art
throughout the venue. I initially used Google Maps and did a virtual
tour of the outside of the building, but ultimately felt the central
mural over the stage inspired me most.
A special thanks to @mrtsurt and @ianwilliams who helped me on every technical question I had. They were fantastic to work with every step of the way!

I love when EV/PJ upgrade back of the house! I remember the same happening during VFC. Always great to hear those stories.

Baltimore invited dude in the back back on stage for ritfw. Was awesome!
So, from about 4:45-5:30 there was no line for merch, and they didn’t seem to be sold out of anything. Not even the Thomas poster or zippos were sold out. I feel like a sucker getting in line at 2:15pm now, but ya never know how these things will go.
Glad I managed to scored one. Usually they sell out while I'm trying to check out.

They don’t have the Thomas poster up at the booth anymore, it must have sold out. I got in line around 3 and got both the posters and a few other things.

But it's about the experience! Kidding. My toes are still cold from waiting in line.
