Yep. If it makes you happy. Buy, spin play, collect. just not necessarily for investment purposes. I love my stuff.

All this stuff will be worthless someday. I imagine when I'm gone leaving piles of records behind.. ."I think dad had a problem" as the dumpster gets filled.
I’m all about leaving heavy piles of stuff my kids have no idea what to do with.

I can’t tell you how many sets of fancy silverware I have in storage that just keeps multiplying and getting passed down over and over.  This will be my contribution.

At least my kids will have access to my discogs page. So they have some sort of idea. There isn’t a silverware site that I know of

haha, all fairness though, once our generation ages out along with us, the people collection PJ stuff is going to be pretty small.  I wonder at what age the average PJ fan will hit before the stuff floods the market.   Probably in our later 70s and 80s when we have to downsize and can't keep all our stuff?
I just added a ton of stuff. Some dude who I think was one of those storage wars types of guys got ahold of the biggest PJ collection I’ve ever seen

he flooded the market with all kinds of vinyl and posters for like two months and is now back to selling stuff that obviously came from an abandoned storage unit. It was all 100 percent legit stuff

i wonder what happened to that collector . That’s probably the fate of all our collections eventually.

one of the reused boxes I got had “Twenty 2 of 12” written on it or something like that.

anyone who’s looked at auctions recently knows exactly who I’m talking about

I'm actually getting ready to dump my non-framed prints as well.  I have a portfolio full and they will never go up.

I think that one was $1,000. Cheap for a signed one.
  • stop w/ the reissues.  the vinyl facilities can't even keep up with the "normal" pressings of new albums.  tired of the variant/limited/colored represses.

This right here made me laugh out loud. But would you unload the silverware or just make it the final practical joke you pull on your kids? I love the latter.

Any new realizations... would have to wait...
Til he had more time,... more time...
Time to dream,... to himself... he waves goodbye,
To himself... I'll see you on the other side...
