Pearl Jam albums in Dolby Atmos surround

I finally got a chance to listen to Vitalogy in Atmos and I loved it. Josh did a nice job of spreading the guitar parts into the surrounds in most all the songs. "Tremor Christ" was a standout to me for sure. I also marked down "Nothingman" and "Immortality" as tracks I would use to demo Atmos to someone new to it. Overall I was very happy with how the drums sound too. Very clear and forward in the soundstage on some tracks, a little further back in the "room" in others. 

I cannot wait for more time to give this new mix additional listens.

This one is available with better fidelity on Blu-ray from Rhino too along with several other albums - the Atmos mix of Seal’s ‘91 debut is fab as is the Carly Simon.

Okay so I made playlist of the first five PJ albums in Dolby Atmos. Everything was good at first, but now, Vs. is no longer in Dolby Atmos except for Indifference and the bonus tracks Hold On, Cready Stomp and Crazy Mary. As for Vitalogy, if I go directly to it from PJ's Apple Music page, I get the Dolby Atmos mix, But when I add that to my playlist, it adds the original mix. No issues with Ten, No Code, and Yield though. Weird.

Anyone else having that issue? Can someone go on Apple Music and see if all of Vs. works for you  in Dolby Atmos? Like I said above, only Indifference and the bonus tracks are for me.

I’m in the middle of an HT rebuild and all my equipment is in its boxes. Heading to a 7.3.4 Atmos system with in ceiling Paradigm speakers for Atmos channels - insulation and poly is up, drywall starts on Monday. Another week or so and I will be back in business. Maybe Canada Post will be delivering mail by then and my first test of the new system can by Vitalogy?

I figured out the issue. Because I have all the albums already on my phone, the app was confusing my regular Vitalogy with the Dolby Atmos one because they’re both titled “Vitalogy.”  No Code on the other hand was titled “No Code (Lossless)” in my library so the app was able to tell the difference. Just had to rename the old mixes.

I just stream everywhere, phone, laptop, home theater system, so I just have the Apple Music streaming versions of all the albums in my Library. When I listen on AirPods Pro and I don't want the Atmos mixes, I just turn off Atmos on my phone.
