Interesting that the delayed seemed to be because of MLB strike and figuring out the ballparks and then it's announced and there's no ballparks listed...

I have a feeling ball parks will be announced in mid april

I'm skeptical about ballparks. This schedule is already pretty full for these guys. I hope it happens because tickets are always easy to get and Fenway is usually on the list, but I'm not hopeful.

It was my understanding that the ballparks had specific dates available, regardless of the MLB season, based mostly on permits from the cities. I know that the neighborhoods around Fenway aren't always thrilled about the shows, so even if there wasn't a season, it's not like bands could just play any stadium any night they wanted. I suppose the parks could get more permits, but I can't fathom the band was waiting on that to announce dates.

Anyone recall how tough it was to get Denver tix in the lottery last time around?  I know that fan-to-fan will be near impossible given that these tix are allowed to be resold.  Making the trip from Boston as its really the only show that works for me on this tour (and its a good excuse to get out to CO).  Shamelessly, if anyone happens to have any tix they are going to return I would be happy to take em off your hands and not have to worry about the lottery.  Thanks!

If I select all 3 ticket options for a show… GA, Reserved Seating, and Lawn… what is the order of location which they will award tickets assuming all are available at the time I’m selected?

    I’m assuming it’s:

    1. GA
    2. Seating
    3. Lawn

    But is this confirmed anywhere?
I do not see it as confirmed but in the past GA has always been the first lotto done per show. When that fills then reserved is done. I would assume as you said Lawn would be last.

This is probably the closest thing to a confirmation:
    Reserved Seating Tickets:
Fresno, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Camden: Reserved seated tickets are assigned to members based on seniority in the Ten Club and will start closest to the stage extending back

So since GA is closest to the stage, your assumption is probably correct.
Thank you!  I think you’re both right but it still makes me nervous to pull the trigger.  Appreciate the feedback.

One would certainly think that it would go that way. But this is our first foray with lawn as a lottery option,
Let's not forget that Ticketmaster is now running these lotteries, so wouldn't be shocked that putting in for all 3 gets a lot of folks on the lawn.

Man, I love the audacity of scalpers. There's a bunch of tickets available on StubHub for Denver, and someone listed a bunch in sec 302 for $3000 each. 2 are in Row 16!

Yes. My seats appear to have changed for two of my shows, but I have been bumped up to the floor. Like you, I did not record my previous seats, but I would have definitely remembered having floor seats. I am sorry yours are not as good. Anyone else noticing this?

If it was me I would not select lawn if you do not want it. You could easily get lawn worse case scenario for the verified fan sale I bet and you would have the option to get something better too if you strike out on the 10C lotto. You may not be able to dump your lawn tickets on Face to Fan later if you upgrade.

I wouldn’t take that lawn if they paid me.  Maybe if they paid me a platinum fee.  Looks awful.

It’s not so much that I don’t want lawn. I just don’t want TM sending me there if GA or Seats are available when my turn comes up.  After not seeing a proper show since 2016 I’ll be happy to just be in the building but the lawn is definitely my 3rd choice.

My seats have not changed - back corner of the lower bowl for both shows I got 10C tickets.

Yeah, Chicago and Pittsburgh were heavy rumors for Fall 2020. I can’t imagine they don’t play Boston. Texas, Florida, Atlanta, Ohio, Seattle, etc should all be in the plans but who knows. Maybe that August ball park rumor knocks most of those out.

The way I think of it is they are covering most of the West and Canada in 2022 with some of the major markets added including New York, Philly (Camden), and Nashville, along with bolt on of St Louis and OKC.

Realistically thinking 2023 for ballparks (Boston and Wrigley), along with arena dates for the mid-west (along with Pittsburgh and/or Buffalo), East Coast, and Pacific Northwest.

Maybe by then they may finally hit Australia and New Zealand as well, depending on COVID.

Sorry I missed the discussion...where did the rumor for the ballparks come from?  Is it just a guess or hopeful group that PJ is adding ballparks to the tour?

I would be shocked if they didn’t add at least one more MSG show. Maybe that’s what those gaps in the schedule are for around mid September.
Would they really do 3 NY shows in a row?

I think the only option if they do two is do the 13th and go back to back with Camden but really I think we are only getting 1 MSG.
Sure they could easily do it, and probably will.
On the west coast they are doing 3 shows in 4 days.

My biggest question is whether we think they'll continue to do shorter sets like in 2021 (granted, those were all festivals) and that abbreviated version is here to stay or whether they'll return to their usual 28-33 song sets.

IMO the days of 33+ song sets are probably a thing of the past, at least for shows w/ an opening act.

I do hope I'm wrong though.

I would rather hear 20+ songs at album tempos than 30+ songs played as fast as possible.

My guess would be 25-28 songs. which is still awesome when you think of other bands. My favourite bands play 18-20.

They haven't had any non-festival shorter sets. Anything can happen but I'm going into this expecting pretty much what we always got. They played long shows with openers for years.
  • yeah, but they are all pushing 60. 3 hour shows is a lot to ask energy wise.

I'm assuming 2:20-2:30 and anything over that is bonus time. That was usually the deal with an opener. Short of that would be a new era.
