If you leave out My Father's Son and In the Moonlight that sounds amazing! I'm happy for almost whatever they play but neither of those songs are ones I would put on my wishlist.
So there’s a new album in the works for the 2022 tour? Nice.
Highly doubtful. "Writing" likely just means they are doing stuff on their own (I did not listen to the interview, so please correct me if I'm wrong). These ideas could then maybe become pearl jam songs at some point.
Weezer has recorded 5 albums since the pandemic started FWIW.
London ON, Buffalo 2013; Cincinnati 2014; Miami, FLL, Tor 1-2, Chi 2 2016; London UK 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Chi 1-2, Bos 1-2 2018; SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2 2021; LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Lon 1-2 2022;
Hard to Imagine and Parting Ways and I will die a happy man!
Grand Rapids 06...yes it was good
15 years later - Grand Rapids is still the gem of 2006 tour. What a beautiful night.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.
Anyone who doubts "Sad", check out Hartford '08. Whole show is awesome, but Sad rips.
Hope to see a lot of Lost Dogs love in '22!

Just to clarify, a second 2022 rumor thread was started after the original was locked due to it veering too far off topic, but then in 2 pages of comments, there are still not any actual 2022 rumors posted, but a debate on which songs could be played in 2022?
I’m at the point where I’m actually dying to see Even Flow again.
Yes! I had a six year tour drought once and was absolutely thrilled with the Atlanta Music Midtown set list. I had no quibbles about so many hits. It will be great to see them play anything!
(For a festival show, Midtown was fantastic and the bootleg is really great.)

Woooah. I'm not there yet.. lol.
For me Corduroy is my litmus test. I've been going to too many shows when I stop enjoying it, when I am enjoying it, it hasn't been enough.
Even Flow and DTE though. I think I'd need to go quite the while.. lol.
I'm currently at just shy of 3 years.. which is towards the longer end of my biggest gaps between shows. I usually seem to see a few in a year, then it's a few off years, then rinse repeat.
Could really go for a show right now though.... need me some corduroy

Sooo... Does anyone know *for sure* if the band is required to play the original cities *before* they play other/new ones?
Option 1: A tour of *only* the original cities before new cities are booked and announced.
Option 2: A tour of *some of* the original cities with new ones mixed in. Cities that don't get booked for this tour get refunded.
Option 3: A tour of *all* the original cities with new ones mixed in.
Option 4: The original cities get refunded and a whole new tour happens. Some cities may "carry over" with new ticketing procedures while other cities may not.
Option 5: Some other possibility.
My guesses in numerical order: 1, 2, 4.

And with the email now, it looks like 2022 will be what 2020 was supposed to be.
Early 2022 - USA dates, but only the cities we know. Mid 2022 - Europe
Late 2022 - USA?
Sure does.

2 and 3 are pretty similar, but I'd say 3 as I don't think they will be refunding/not making up the already sold out shows. I don't see any scenario where Pearl Jam would be required (legally) to play the original cities before adding/playing different shows, but I think they would want to take care of those shows during the next US tour because of logistics and general logic. Based on some of the rumors, I think they will be adding additional shows, so #3.

I ve never heard bee girl or big wave live, it s be nice to hear them. Actually big wave at shn has a nice ring to it.
Bee Girl ...ugggh. that is how much I love Pearl Jam, that I would be happy to stand through that silliness again. I've seen it too many times and it isn't good the first time. So weak. I dislike Parachutes and Yellow Spoon but at least those are real songs. Bee Girl is just a goof.
But....I'll be happy to hear it if they want to play it, come MSG & Baltimore in spring 2022.

The update from 10C yesterday was very much appreciated and just what everyone was waiting for. I sure hope these Spring 2022 shows go off without a hitch. A repeat of what happened in 2020 with cancellations would be a gut punch.
I also wonder if they'll announce the second leg when they confirm dates for Spring. Looking forward to some of those rumored 2020 second leg shows to come to fruition. Exciting times around here again!

Late 2022 - USA?
That's my guess (just a guess! I have no rumors). The Killers announced their rescheduled North American dates yesterday, and it looks like everything was moved from August 2020 to August 2022. So I'm expecting (again, based on ZERO information) that the postponed PJ dates will happen next March or April.
All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.

Thats what I’m thinking as well. Spring 2022 will look very similar to spring 2020. March/April. I’m figuring the fall 2022 will be announced in May with the first shows ( Wrigley Field?) starting in late August
