the band plays stadium shows for the profit not the specialness - the first time at each was nice but that's over

This is the answer.  If a promoter like LiveNation says "Hi Band in their 50's with growing families, would you like X dollars to play 6 shows over 3 weekends or would you like the same amount of money to play 18 shows over 5 weeks?"  I think most are choosing the less work/travel option.

I wouldn't worry yet about a list of ballpark dates that may be entirely fictional.
Yeah, I could see Camden as a Baltimore ‘replacement’ but Fenway/Wrigley again with all the other dates they’re playing seems like overkill.

The football stadium in Seattle is where it gets really suspect.  100,000+ tickets they would probably need a co-headliner.
I didn't even realize that was the football stadium in Seattle. I don't see that happening.
The sound at Lumen isn't great. The overhang over the upper deck bounces sound back towards the field.

someone posted a few pages ago that their source told them the canadian dates would be early sept. I think it was:

    QC: Sept 1
    Ottawa: Sept 3
    Hamilton Sept 5
    Toronto Sept 7
    These dates would be great!

Exactly. And allowing twice as many fans the opportunity to get in the building. To PJ, it's a win win for themselves and fans.

They've pretty much sold out every stadium show they've played. I don't think they worry about fans complaining about sound and sight lines.

I wonder when the St Louis and Oklahoma City rescheduled dates would be?
Going off of that Denver date I would say 18th and 20th if no other shows were added. Or after the 22nd which I doubt since Ohana is close.
    That’s my guess too

It couldn’t be as simple and logistical as them announcing the rescheduled dates in the newsletter/coinciding with newsletter, could it?

So Is the consensus dates released today or an “announcement coming soon” blurb in the newsletter? Just trying to figure out where to set my expectations lol

After Monday, that’s pretty much where I’ve parked any hopes and expectations.

I still have PTSD after Monday. I just got over the Dirty Frank tease at Fenway too. Terrible timing.

why we need an announcement for an upcoming announcement after we got the 'early 2022' announcement and 'in the coming days' email renewal announcement blows my mind.

but it certainly won't surprise me if that's what happens.

They sent an alert about a reminder that was a teaser of the hint about the announcement. It's all standard procedure.

I'm certainly no expert on how these things go, I just know they've never announced dates in the newsletter before, and all announcements typically happen on monday or tuesday (I think anyway). so I could be way off.
