Terrific. This gives us all something to look forward to tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that. What a wonderful thing. It is right up there with the joy I get from the smell of fresh flowers, the sound of a child's laughter, the feeling of the warm sun on my skin, a nice cold beer on a hot day, a satisfying hike through the woods, celebrating the successes of friends and family, etc....
Oh what a wonderful day. I hope this post is acceptable to all.
Going to a concert in Boston this weekend at House of Blues and just got an email saying that there was no longer masking or covid test/vaxx restrictions in place for the event.
I am sure Pearl Jam is still able to mandate these things if they want, so interested to see if they will choose to do so as it seems completely optional in most places now.

Wang Theater and TD Garden (I’m almost 100% certain) have dropped all requirements as well.

I completely agree. This is like the run-up to Christmas when you are 5 or 6 years old. Every day seems so long and it's almost impossible to even imagine when Christmas will ever come. Is it here yet? I can't wait any longer to open my presents.
Now, imagine that PJ/10C is your parents and they won't even tell you what day Christmas is on. Maybe it's on Dec 25th, but maybe it's the 28th this year, or maybe it's on Feb 2nd?? You never know when Christmas will arrive, until it arrives. Amazing.

I have tickets to two shows at the Wang in June, and both still have the "Health Check" notice. Looks like it is the event requiring it, not the venue, though. That may change by the time June rolls around.

I got an email from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland saying the same for Tool.
I think that the change in TM activity for concert dates means that we'll be seeing real updates soon. Mar 9/24 is obviously a placeholder, and Chad the computer wiz will be hitting the "update to new dates" button real soon.

I feel like something similar happened last year - the postponed tickets started showing funky dates. I'm not saying it's nothing, I'm just not getting my hopes up that a website known for having technical issues isn't simply having more technical issues.

I can only speak for MSG.
Starting this week you don’t have to show your vaccinated.
However if the artist request for the show to be vax only then that’s something we will accommodate.

Disappointment is just an opportunity for redemption.

Whatever happened to those "little birdie with a tweet" message that gave us a heads up to make sure your memberships were updated?
That was when Pearl Jam still toured.
Oh just stop it. Pearl Jam has always toured and will continue to tour..... in our hearts. They are always with us even if not in physical form. That is the wonderful gift of music. That magical gift that you pay for with the wonderful satisfaction that only an honest day's work provides.
I truly appreciate and acknowledge the opportunity we have been provided to live in the era that Pearl Jam existed. So, in conclusion, I don't think it is possible to be waiting on a tour announcement when they have never stopped.
Seems pretty likely as the time passes that they'll play Lollapalooza right after Amsterdam - and that we're all stuck waiting for lineup details which won't come until the day (probably a Tuesday) after Lolla22 tickets go on sale... so maybe next Wednesday but probably the following when that line up gets dropped...
