Alot of times in sports, reporters will tweet about something being "in talks" even though its pretty much a done deal.

With how much info has come out in the last 24-48 hours alone from various sources, my guess is the schedule has been finalized and confirmations are going out to sources at all venues with on sale info and what not.  We are close.

Yeah, reporters can't actually say somethings a done deal until it's announced, so you get a lot of hedging. This could be the same type of situation.

Bruce isn't happening (specifically, for 2022), but could Pearl Jam be playing Desert Trip 2 in Indio, California?

October sure sounds like below to me if not involving existing dates or Ohana, as has already been stated by LeafsJaysCubsRaptorsFan

The organizers of classic-rock fest Desert Trip—led by Paul Tollett, who is also wheeling and dealing for the Coachella lineup—are said to be working hard to secure Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, but that booking appears shaky at best. The rest of the bill, insiders say, looks like a home run.

  • Something out this week and with the amount of east rumors of the fall, I betting on west coast in May.. the hold up now is the ticket sales for EV in LA for this Friday... lots of seats they would like to sell before saying ..oh by the way we have 5 CA shows coming in May too... thinking starts in OAK, on a weekend, SD midweek, LA the following weekend.. followed by Den mid week and the PHX on the third Sat. keeps the previously planned weekend shows on weekends for fan travel purposes... also falls in line with Ohana.. as that spreads out the demand - wouldnt want to do all CA in the fall and impact your own sales. They could even add Portland and Seattle to start the shows.. Home town jumping point and add new money which will be needed to make it work unfortunately. Then concentrate on Midwest and East coast in the fall, could also add places like Dallas, and Chicago.

Don’t know if this has already been posted as I have not been here in awhile but figured I’d share some tour info. My good friend has a very close connection to one of the band members so his info is always 100%.  Again, maybe this has already been posted but I’m not reading through all the pages. They are playing the Apollo and MSG 2 nights end of next year. Total of three nights i believe. I believe November. So id assume that’s inline with an east coast swing. He already has his “tickets”. I don’t want to release too much more and get someone in trouble. Just thought I’d share.
I believe this was the source of the MSG in the fall rumor. Dated Dec 2021 (page 48 of this thread).

If California gets 9 shows before Canada gets their 4 I am not sure what to think of this madness lol.

Then again Pearl Jam opening up for half of Led Zepplin would be a dream come true.

Ohana for sure then.  With a possible Ohana Encore?
His initial post said he was not talking about Ohana. What other festivals are in Cali in October? Outside Lands? Bottlerock?
OSL is in August, Bottlerock is in May

If a fest, could be another version of Desert Trip (aka Oldchella in 2016)? Perhaps a 90s-centric version. PJ, Peppers, Rage, Foos, etc. Rage did drop off Coachella lineup, maybe this would explain why? Obviously this is not a rumor but rather mindless speculation.
The obvious Oldchella or stadium tour that needed to happen was Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, TOTD, Audioslave, and Rage.

It just gives them more time to plan a full Canada tour like in 05

    Can't complain if that happens!
  • Super late to the party on this as I haven’t logged in for quite some time but as a Virginia resident it’s a real kick in the pants that the last two shows I had tickets for were Raleigh and Baltimore lol. Yes I was at Hampton right before that Raleigh show was supposed to happen but with the cancellation announcement right before that show it was the weirdest vibe I’ve ever experienced at a show. Hopefully they make it right one of these years.

Aftershock is in October and they're dropping their lineup tomorrow.

I was super excited for the Toronto show, as it was to be the first PJ show in about a year and a half, first show of the tour, first show supporting a brand new album. When the postponement was announced, I was hopeful that they'd keep a similar schedule, and I'd at least get to see one of the first shows back. I'll still be excited to finally get to a show, but still...

The way the rumors are building, I'm going to have to go to Fenway to see them. Yeah, special shows, but my seats will suck (both the sight lines and the physical seat itself). At least we can get great BBQ before the shows.

It looks like They Might Be Giants were supposed to play a bunch of dates this spring (March and April?) and have pushed them back to the summer.

I can’t be the only one thinking that this is someone confusing Eddie and the earthlings for Pearl Jam. These rumors are probably early talks for Eddie and the earthlings round 2. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t see Pearl Jam playing a venue that size when T mobile is right there.
Seems like they could, in theory, pick up a short EV residency if there are no US shows until after Europe.
Doing a little math, Chad's available until June before RHCP, and Glen's got a month in April between tours. Only thing limiting a long residency is Lady Gaga's shows from mid-April into May.

The venue's similarly sized to some of the places The Earthlings have played, and have hosted other rock acts. Not traveling (or limited traveling) could be theoretically safer from covid postponements.

I can't see Pearl Jam as a whole playing there though, too small a venue and they got way too many other dates committed to pencil in a date or two (even if they were warmup shows).

The Black Crowes are teasing a tour announcement for tomorrow. Yet another band that played their postponed tour and has moved on to the next one.
I saw this on FB and read some comments - some are speculating it's going to be a new album announcement - something about a 1972 Covers album.  I guess they played some stuff in Vegas and mentioned it being from a new cover album.
Interesting. Could be that. I saw announcement and assumed tour because that's where my brain is these days.
    It was a tour.

I can only imagine what this board will look like if PJ plays a few West Coast shows, EV does a run of solo shows in Vegas, and they push the East Coast rescheduled dates back to the fall.

Why is it always a clusterfuck for Pearl Jam to schedule shows? I swear Phish and Dead and Co. have toured Colorado 3x since PJ officially postponed their 2020 tour. What in the actual F.
