Raptors on the 18th. Does the leafs playing at 2pm mean Pearl Jam could play that night? (Although that seems logistically impossible). Otherwise this ordering on Ticketmaster doesn’t make sense.
There in Carolina
The 17th is in Toronto. But Ticketmaster says 2pm and the scotiabank website says 7pm. Pretty sure 7 is right unless it’s a st Patrick’s day matinee.

They were supposed to play Toronto on March 18, 2020. So Ticketmaster still has 3/18 in their system.
That makes sense except that they’re moving around the other dates on Ticketmaster. For example MSG was originally on the 30th and it’s now between the 7th and the 12th.

My gut still tells me US shows won’t be happening this spring but I guess we will see.
Reba McEntire is even announcing dates. She not scared. C'mon PJ!
Well, Reba is fancy.

Personally, I would be stunned if US shows did not happen this Spring. Time will certainly tell.
Just my theory but they might be waiting until the U.S opens up its boarders and rules for international travel.
Knowing they have a well travelling fan base this would make sense.

That’s when the current one ends because you can only close for 30 days at a time. I think it will get renewed one more time before all the snowbirds start coming down

Agreed thinking November 21 also.

Those rolling 21st of the month are specific to land borders. Air travel has always been open to Canadians throughout Covid. There is also news out there that vaccinated travellers from other countries will be allowed in the US some time in November, although details unclear. That should be more than adequate to announce March dates if it was the only holdup.

Hopefully! Hopefully this vax news includes the nearly 4 mill Canadian with MIXED VAX.... not to mention all the Europeans too.... It really should, as the data points to strong effectiveness... in fact, potentially stronger than using the same vax for each of the 2 doses. cross fingers. We miss you PJ. No more capacity restriction in Ontario or Quebec.... we are good to rock!
This whole thing gets more annoying by the day as other artists start to announce shows for the same time frame as these ones are anticipated

It does not have to be on the 21st. That is just when the new deal ends. Canada’s side opened August 9th.
We really could hear about the new dates tomorrow or we could have to wait until January which is the normal time they announce spring tours. Fingers crossed we hear about them this year so it gives us more time to plan and acquire vacation.

I’ve started to book weekends with other plans/concerts for Feb, March and April. It’s frustrating but it is what it is. I’ve officially lost the desire to HAVE to attend every show. I’ll make a few of them that I can and that’ll be that.
How many more times do I need to hear all of Gigaton and Ten live again anyway?
The delay isn’t related to Covid at this point, it can’t be. They’re waiting for the right time to make some fancy social media post to try and appeal to sell tickets. With how weak the ticket sales were for Ohana and SHN, I don’t anticipate a problem for anyone getting tickets besides MSG, Baltimore and Toronto.
They have cared so much more about catering towards casual fans instead of 10c members over the last few years that they have already lost a significant amount of internal interest in my opinion. A lot of the crazies, including myself, have stepped back.

SHN may have sold out but you could buy tickets for way under cost on the secondary market in the weeks before festival. And Encore weekend tickets were practically being given away. COVID and travel restrictions had to do with part of that.

It’s frustrating, but Pearl Jam is always going to move at their pace. They have always done things their way and that’s a big reason why most of us appreciate them so much.
You sound like you’re trying to control something that’s completely out of your control. The tour will happen when it happens and you’ll have a great time.

Really curious where they go from here with setlist lengths. They could of played longer at SHN and Ohana but they chose to play for 2hrs. Yes they are fests and yes there was a curfew but they run those festivals (Danny with SHN) and if they wanted to play for longer than 2hrs they easily could have. They chose not too which has me a little concerned about what we are getting going forward. Also with regards to the 2018 tour total songs played took a notable drop from the 2013/14/16 tours. I remember when Worcester 2 in 2013 did not break the 30 songs played barrier and it was one of the few that year. In 2018 if they broke out more than 30 songs it was in the minority. On top of that they have an opening act now too. Yes they have played with one before and still had longer shows but still another question mark for me on where these guys intend to go setlist wise.
If we are getting 6-8 Gigaton songs a night and 25-28 song setlists this tour I think we will see a dramatic drop off in fans feeling the need to see more shows for leg 2. This is all pure speculation and not trying to speak in a negative manner here just thinking out loud.
If the plan is still Mar/Apr 2022 for postponed shows, I think we could be waiting until January for an announcement. The 2020 wasn’t announced until January 13 or something like that. It’s evident PJ doesn’t want to be in a position to have to reschedule multiple times depending on how things go with the pandemic. Maybe they want to see how this fall concert season goes with shows happening in arenas, and how the first couple months of the NHL and NBA go.
It’s a pain having to wait to plan travel but I understand why they’re playing it ultra-safe. Refunds are available for those who don’t want to hang onto tickets.

Refunds are not available to general sale purchased tickets which is the majority of tickets out there right now. Face to Fan and 10C are still refundable. I think you are right and they wait a couple of months to see how this whole vax only and arena sports events play out.

If we are getting 6-8 Gigaton songs a night and 25-28 song setlists this tour I think we will see a dramatic drop off in fans feeling the need to see more shows for leg 2. This is all pure speculation and not trying to speak in a negative manner here just thinking out loud.
