Out of the crowded pack of new talent to come into play in the late 80s/ early 90s, John P. Strohm (Blake Babies, Antenna, Velo-Deluxe), Strohm is one of the best least recognized song writers... who happen to be a great guitarist and singer as well.  I don't know how this one escaped me (except that most of the music I pursue I look for on vinyl and this is only available on CD- too bad!)  This record is terrific!

The Atomic Bitchwax. First and second albums.

Causa Sui - Live from Copenhagen

    Earthless- Sonic Prayer Live

These were all pretty damn difficult to track down but they were the last releases from each band that I needed to complete their respective discographies.

Just in and sent from Mr. Barone personally (I love it when artists do that!)  This (on both CD and DVD) is the 25 anniversary of Cool Blue Halo with the same musicians that made the original live album.  It's a beautiful album, so I'm stoked to have this and can't wait to hear and see it!

Cool!  I just heard some Ministry for (as far as I can remember) the first time.  Good stuff!

Here's a CD that came as a freebie with an order I placed on Discogs recently: Steel Your Soul and Dare Your Spirit to Move by Soledad Brothers.  I would say this band is part Lightnin' Hopkins, part John Lee Hooker, mix in a little George Thorogood, add a sprinkle of Rolling Stone and a dash of 13th Floor Elevator, and wash it all down with a few shots of Johnny Walker Red.
Oh, and, in fact, the name of the singer/guitar player is Johnny Walker, lol!

Sounded awesome on first play through.

Really enjoyed the new Smile album today too. I think I liked it more than Wall of Eyes

Picked up an Oceans digipak with an old school Jeff sig (with good provenance) and an ‘09 radio show. Must be hard to find because there’s no info on Discogs.

Wilco's "new" EP, Hot Sun Cool Shroud. I was given a copy of the LP as part of my ticket package for Wilco's Solid Sound Festival in June, but I'm glad to finally be able to buy it in my preferred format.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.
