I’m liking it! Apparently he composed a lot of it on bass. It is definitely a bit funkier, more soul and old school rhythm and blues I think? So good to have a new album. My only complaint is the length. It’s too short. Not normally a problem but there are a couple of songs that end at 2 or 2.5 minutes. One of them fades out just as his guitar solo gets going.

I’m quibbling though. It’s a great record. Glad to hear new Ben!

My brother went to CalJam II and bought me an Aerosmith Tshirt at my request. I was 9. That shirt was 4 sizes too big for me but I wore that fucker proud.

This is how cds were sold in the beginning! Marketers were afraid the actual cd would be too tiny to see on tue shelf. So much wasted packaging!

When I was a young teenager I worked in a record store. This was when CDs first came out. They were mostly classical music and we kept them behind the counter because they were so expensive compared to the vinyl records. It actually took me about 5 more years to start buying CDs on my own when they had music I liked. At that point I had so much vinyl I didn’t see the need to switch. Now my hundreds of CDs have been unplayed for years and I have added a few hundred records to my vinyl collection. Circle of life.

I got it at Rockaway Records. I think it was $15. It was an odd thing they held for me as they don’t carry CDs anymore which breaks my heart. The long boxes also fit into the regular LP racks that proceeded CDs so they didn’t have to remodel record stores right away.

That’s great! Love the label directing you to see the bands at Lollapooza this summer.

    51 tracks, wow!
I remember wanting to get the original vinyl but by the time I looked for it, the prices were outrageous.  I settled with an early CD version instead which was cool.

That set is awesome! I love that they included the TOTD stuff from PJ20.
