Looks like a bunch of rooms just opened up in nearby Spring Lake (about 5 miles away): https://www.grandvictorianspringlake.com. Not ideal if you want to walk but a nice looking spot in the vicinity. Let's make this place PJ central.
Anybody gone to this festival before who can offer parking advice? Wife and I are just planning to go on Saturday to see the Avetts and, of course, PJ. We live about an hour and a half away in NW Jersey.

And all the rooms are gone now... Hopefully someone snagged one! I'll be there with 5 other PJ nuts (we have 3 of the rooms.)
Awesome food lineup! I’ve had most of these before and they’re really good. I tried simply southern for the first time a few weeks ago and it was great.
I can vouch that Local Smoke, Playa Bowls, Hoagitos, Surf Taco, and Local 130 Seafood are all awesome.
Local Smoke is a best friend of mine I grew up with who started the business. theyre excellent, they started off doing competitions, now they own multiple restaurants in jersey.
Get in line early for food. Lines were so long and unmanageable in 2019 that I ended up leaving the festival both days to get food on the boardwalk,
What about beer lines?
Beer lines were not bad. There were so many stands for beer & drinks throughout various locations that it really wasn't a problem (at least in my experience). All the food vendors were in the same area off the beach and every time I wanted to get food it was a complete s*** show with such long lines all right next to each other that I couldn't even find the end of the line for the stand I wanted. Maybe it will be set up differently this time around. And maybe I would have been able to figure it out better if the beer lines weren't so short.
Local smoke is great. Playa bowls and surf taco are in my weekly lunch rotation.
The woman who cofounded Playa Bowls grew up in our neighborhood and her dad is our plumber (he was here on Monday for a quick fix 🤦🏻♂️). Great business and family. 😁

My daughter lives on playa bowls.
I believe it… they’re always packed.

Apologize if it's been discussed but has anyone attended with VIP or PLAT tickets before? With prices on the exchange in a tailspin for GA, just wondering if those prices continue to go down too where it might be worth it to snag one. Seems like viewing area (McCready side) gets your right there, with some other fringe benefits.
