    Great article!  Was just chatting with a friend the other day about how much I'd love to see a Lost Dogs II.  We've had no B-Sides, and very few studio recorded songs released since Riot Act (other than the main albums), so they must be sitting on heaps of stuff in addition to the songs we already know are out there, and the few non-album studio songs we have had.  There was a very definite change of strategy by the band from Avocado onwards in terms of what to do with songs that did not make the albums.

    Cool article. I never songs like Breath being off LD because they were in RVM. Several on the list of songs left off fall in that category. But still plenty of material.
    I would also like to see something for the fan club singles now that they’re done. Even just a CD release of them all together.

    That wasn't my reaction when it was released. What a great companion piece to Live on Two Legs! Great set, amazing performances all around. Combine them into one playlist some time and hit shuffle! Also, agreed on LD II! The ST leftovers alone are SO great!!

    I have darker thoughts on this.  The band won't be around forever.  Do we want them to release all of their material while they're still an active band?   Or do we want to save some in the vault to release afterwards?

    I kind of feel like they're leaving some content in the vault for afterwards.

    Then again I hope they end up being like the stones and touring forever, in which case it might not leave me much time to enjoy unreleased music if they go the distance.

    Oh ok! Well, important thing is that they are 'out'. Whether is was Ebay, an auction or some shady trade it doesnt really matter ;)

    RVM and LD were after 7 albums. Maybe they'll do that after a second set of 7. 3 to go. There don't seem to be as many b-sides lately though so maybe they'll chuck some older ones in.

    Still after an official compilation of every track from the fan club 7" singles on CD.

    it's not my story to tell as i dont have the tapes but let's just say things happen for a reason where they were unearthed and put in the best hands imaginable for the communty.

    I think they were acquired from a storage unit sale or something to that effect. At least that’s what I recall. There’s a thread about it buried somewhere on The Porch. I know who has them and that person shared a couple files from their collection with me some years back.

    That would be awesome.  There is a song that cannot be named here that is one of the best PJ songs ever written in my opinion.  It would be so nice to have it officially released so that I don't get kicked off these boards for mentioning it as I almost was once.
