Take this for what it’s worth…

I caught up with a buddy of mine in the merch line and while he was buying merch for us I was talking to one of the crew who appeared to be the supervisor for the operation.  After some chitchat about how great it was to be back for a show, the guy told me that he was looking forward to next year because they have 4 tours planned.   I think that lines up with what has been speculated here, but it’s nice to hear it from someone who would be in a position to know for sure.

fall US make up dates (the ones that hadn’t been announced but booked). Gotta be. Maybe a little different as it’s not election year. (The swing state plans.)

My FOMO will be peaking tonight even though I’m going to all 4 Ohana shows, but I’m also looking forward to the spring announcement hopefully very soon after these 5 shows are in the books.

I'm going under for sure but depends on how long their setlist is I guess.  I think they debut at least 4 or 5 but not as many as 7 or 8

I’d love to go to oz as I love their footy, no sport like it. But not sure they’re gonna let in any outsiders for a couple years. To say they have zero tolerance for a US style pandemic would be an understatement.

Im not listening to any live performances of new songs until I am experiencing them in person. I’m now incredibly impatient bc of the jealousy of the people at these festivals :bawling:

"Gig a ton" was an inside joke to the band because they had so much time on the road planned before Covid.

And if you read it backwards it says Not a gig.

Same here...almost didn't want to even look at the setlist, but couldn't resist when PEARLJAM posted it on the IG page.  If I counted correctly it came out to 5 songs off of GIG A TON but was going to be 6...River Cross got crossed out so doesn't look like they played it.  I don't even want to go read the reviews of the show until after Ohana. Can't believe it's this weekend!!!

Hilarious they dragged the organ across the country and scratched River Cross.

I was thinking the same thing!! Hahah.

I actually hate that song so I would be stoked if it got crossed off at any show I was at.

Yes. They have. The first two live shows I saw after the Covid break was the Foo Fighters. I am also going to see Dave Grohl do his Storyteller thing next Tuesday. Between their charting album, global icon award, and live shows this appears to be the year of the Foo Fighters.

If I had to guess, I would say this is fake. They've made a big deal about Coldplay being the grand opening show on the 22nd, I don't know that they'd have a show there 3 days earlier.

It would be cool if true, just gotta figure out how to get in...

I don't know if this means anything (never went to the coldplay site before), but Seattle is not listed: https://www.coldplay.com/tour/

    edit: nevermind, it's here: https://www.coldplay.com/band-to-open-seattles-climate-pledge-arena/

I had been hearing rumblings of a special event around the neighborhood. Had hopes it was PJ. Still Foos, pretty nice.
