  • I wonder if they already know how many tickets they’ve sold and won’t be selling any additional.
  • Some late intel from the Ants website that I am reposting here.  Not sure how accurate, but one of the more reliable posters over there posted this:

Okay I think I caught up on it. Formatting isn't the best but here's a rundown on what we got today so far.

I'm not banking on these yet, been waiting for the email postponing them to 2022. Same with the Black Crows, and GNR US dates.
Agreed.  The big stadium tours (Motley Crue. GNR, Green Day, and Billy Joel) seem to have little to no chance.  Don't know what the holdup is in an announcement from those tours......

There seems to be a magic timeframe like about 10-12 weeks in advance to call things off.  Billy Joel’s June show at Notre Dame stadium was recently moved to 2022.  It seems likely the July shows will get bounced shortly.  Toronto is on the GNR stadium tour for July and I see absolutely no way that show happens.

This is fun. Been a long time since we had semi-realistic tour dates to anticipate!

I'm not even a fan, but I'm so desperate for a live show... this might be the first year I see Dave Matthews!!!

They play a fun show and the setlist changes from night to night. You could do a lot worse for a return to live music.

I have no doubt... I kind of liked them in college in the late 90s, but a lot of my friends killed it for me w/ the bootlegs etc, so I lost interest. (guarantee I've done that to people w/ PJ or Tool)

They're talented AF, I have no doubt I would love it.

I just got my Warehouse email announcing the flash ticket sale.  If it wasn't for this and Ants, GA would have been gone before I even got the tickets.

Feel the same way.  A fall evening at SPAC with DMB sounds completely wonderful! And I do not know their music much at all.

I stand corrected - didn't think they would tour this year. Bold and impressive move by Dave and the boys. I guess since every American could/should/would be vaccinated long before July, they should be good to go.

As a Canadian, I'm sad that I likely won't be able to go to anything this year...but that won't stop me from scouting a show or two and keeping my finger on the ticket trigger, just incase.

This makes me think I might still have a chance of seeing the Black Crowes the last day of July!
