Its exclusive insomuch as you have to be a 10c member to buy it from the 10c. Not that the release is exclusive to the 10c (because why would they put a target logo sticker on the record)?
come on guys.
No one should have to look that hard into it. Unless you are familiar with the sticker who would know it's from Target. 10c wording was clearly misleading. Exclusive purchase for one day is all.
i'm more than happy to give my $ to the 10c staff over target but if its cheaper on target (i usually get free shipping and 5% off), i think its a pretty shitty way to advertise it. Just don't say anything and dont use the word "exclusive". If it winds up being the same price or off by a tiny bit i'm ok as i'd rather have staff at 10c profit then big corporate but just dont say anything about being exclusive and leave the customer feeling like a bad experience just happened

This clearly says the vinyl is ten club members only.

This is what makes it really fucked up. I’m not going to cancel my order but really bad form by the club here.
Target might have a red version or another alternate. For example , Post Malone had an exclusive purple lp on web site, but target had a green.

Could they have made it a bit clearer, probably, but there's no lie in that statement.
Only 10c members could buy it from the 10c shop. Randos couldn't.
It doesn’t say anything about who can or can’t buy it from the ten club shop. It says the vinyl is exclusive to ten club members.
It’s at best grossly misleading and at worse just false.
I bought it and I’m keeping it either way... I don’t mind paying the shipping so I don’t have to track it down in the store. But the wording is concerning.

I just assumed Members Only Exclusive Item means only 10c members could purchase it. But yes, they could have been more clear, especially if people couldn't identify the Target sticker on the sleeve.

It’s smelly. Especially when they know people check out in a hurry because stuff sells out fast.
This is not how they usually deal with stuff so I’d like to think the wording was just poorly chosen and we won’t see it happen again in the future.

I feel sorry for the buyer. Ebay also needs to do a better job of cracking down on sellers who don't actually have the item in-stock.
I feel bad for the buyer, but they should have exercised some restraint, shopped around, and searched the internet.
On the other hand, Target usually has pre-orders on their site.
ebay allows pre-orders, so the seller didn't break ebay policy. They did break 10 club policy.
But we’ve been trained otherwise with all the limited releases. If you wait they are gone. We all bought this with the belief it was a 10C exclusive item because that’s exactly how it was advertised. 10C knew what they were doing and still chose to deceive their customers. I used to think the band was heavily involved in 10C affairs but I can’t believe they would stand for the customer service or lack thereof that 10C provides.
Like another poster said, I’ll gladly pay more in shipping to get my record packed and mailed by people who work for the band instead of a massive Corp like Target that treats its employees like disposable labor. I can’t blame people for being frustrated about the costs and they way it was advertised.

I don't think Target is the same a Wal-Mart in terms of how they treat employees? Not saying they're perfect or anything.

....Probably from all the now-cancelled orders.

It just let me go through checkout with one, and enter my CC info. I'm not buying it, though.
