A lot of right wingers are very concerned about the family of AL Qaeda leaders today.
Well to be clear....Biden didn;t kill him nor his family. But he did give the order and provide the resources to find and go after him.
And the guy killed himself and his family. People will twist anything into the narrative that fits their agenda.
Oh I know. It was pretty funny. When the raid first hit, Breitbart and Fox were splashing all about the dead women and children. And then when the info came out that he blew himself up, taking teh family with him, Breitbart removed ALL reference to the story. So the biggest story of the day was totally ignored because they couldn't quickly figure out how to make it negative for Biden.
How does it go? Jobs, jobs, jobs? Is that right? More good news this morning.
But have you seen the caravans streaming across our southern border? We’re doomed.
The jobs report and the Al Qaeda raid was just a convenient distraction so we don't talk about the border. Basically a false flag. I mean, can anyone prove teh jobs report is real? Can anyone prove that any American is gainfully employed? I don't think so.

Hahahaha...yeah I wasn't commenting on you but them. I hate that everyone is always looking for the spin. It's like me constantly looking for articles for how beer are actually good for you and ignoring all the other data.

Talk about spin...the jobs report. Ummmmm we basically shut down the economy....I would hope we'd have record job placement!!! These things don't happen in the bubble the president tries to make everyone think they do.

It's definitely spin. I think we're all aware. However it's a bad number, the Trumpers come in here gloating about it.
I am just more interested in the politics of it all. Few more good jobs numbers and people's perception of the economy will be more positive.

Teh reality is that the president has little effect on the economy but the president both benefits and takes the hit when it's bad. Inflation is a great example. It is worldwide yet people definitely blame Biden. So why wouldn't he do a victory lap with good news?
exactly....bad news everyone jumps on him. Good news they say he should get no credit.
Remember when Trump, and then all his supporters, took credit for the January 2017 jobs numbers despite not being president for two thirds of the month and after calling all good job reports under Obama fake? So nice to have an adult running the country again.
19 times Trump called jobs numbers ‘fake’ before they made him look good
March 10, 2017
We may assume President Trump is quite pleased with the strong jobs report from his first full month in office: He retweeted the Drudge Report's triumphant “GREAT AGAIN” framing of the numbers Friday morning, after touting employment figures released by payroll firm ADP earlier in the week.
Not so long ago, however, Trump's view of the monthly jobs report, which comes courtesy of the nonpartisan federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, was markedly different. As recently as December, he described the report as “totally fiction.”
If there was any argument over whether Trump was flip-flopping on the jobs report at the precise moment it reflected positively on him, White House press secretary Sean Spicer laid it to rest Friday afternoon, telling reporters: “I talked to the president prior to this, and he said to quote him very clearly: 'They may have been phony in the past, but it’s very real now.' ”

Let's take a walk down memory lane and remember a few times Trump trashed the jobs numbers as “fake,” incomplete or something other than the right way to determine whether America had been made “great again.”
“Unemployment rate only dropped because more people are out of labor force & have stopped looking for work. Not a real recovery, phony numbers”
Oct. 19, 2012 "7.8% unemployment number is a complete fraud as evidenced by the jobless claims number released yesterday. Real unemployment is at least 15%”
Aug. 11, 2013 “We can rev up this economy like it should be, not with false numbers like 7.4 percent unemployment. But with real numbers.”
May 31, 2014 “Unemployment is a totally phony number.”
June 16, 2015 “Our real unemployment is anywhere from 18 to 20 percent. Don't believe the 5.6. Don't believe it.”
Aug. 11, 2015 “Then you hear there's a 5.4 percent unemployment. It's really — if you add it up, it's probably 40 percent if you think about it.”
Aug. 30, 2015 “They show those phony statistics where we are 5.4 percent unemployment. The real number, I saw a number that could be 42 percent, believe it or not.”
Sept. 28, 2015 “I hear 5.3 percent unemployment, that is the biggest joke there is in this country. That number is so false.”
Sept. 29, 2015 “The number is not reflective. I have seen numbers of 24 percent. I saw a number of 42 percent unemployment. … That number is so false.”
Oct. 9, 2015 “They say 5.3 percent employment. The number is probably 32 percent.”
Oct. 11, 2015 “Nobody has jobs. … It is not a real economy. It is a phony set of numbers. They cooked the books.”
Jan. 17, 2016 “Look again, you hear these phony jobs numbers? People that gave up looking for jobs? They are considered employed.”
Feb. 9, 2016 “Don't believe those phony numbers when you hear 4.9 and 5 percent unemployment. As high as 35 — as in fact, I heard recently, 42 percent.”
March 12, 2016 “The numbers are phony. These are all phony numbers. Numbers given to politicians to look good. These are phony numbers.”
May 24, 2016 “You hear a 5 percent unemployment rate. It's such a phony number. That number was put in for presidents and for politicians so that they look good to the people.”
July 7, 2016 “The phony 5 percent numbers that we hear about with the unemployment.”
Aug. 8, 2016 “The 5 percent figure is one of the biggest hoaxes in modern politics.”
Nov. 4, 2016 “The terrible jobs report that just came out … you can see phony numbers, 5 percent.”
Dec. 8, 2016 “The unemployment number, as you know, is totally fiction.”
I love the 42% number. Like, wouldn’t we notice if 42% of working age ‘Muricans weren’t working? Seriously, have you heard of anything more stupid as it relates to employment? And to think POOTWH was actually elected POTUS. And still holds sway over the repub party. This country is so fucked.

A week later he said it was 35%. Hell of a week for people going back to work!

He is including retirees in that number and honestly probably students as well. Don't know that it gets that high, but there are 46MM Americans receiving social security. So yes, the number of Americans not working is well over 5% or whatever, but no one has ever counted them in employment numbers.
I am sure some of the magamoos who pop in and out of here from time to time were just itching to post this morning...until about 8:31am.
THIS, right here, is why the Biden admin has no choice but to tout these numbers. Look how happy these people were when they thought the report was going to be horrible.

The other thing that people aren't focusing on yet are the revised numbers for the last two months. Total job adds were 700k. So that's over 1.1MM adds in the last three months.
So therefore, it's important that we now focus on the stock market being down. I mean we know it's down because the jobs numbers are so good, investors recognize that fed has to raise rates. So FJB for hurting my 401k. Amiright?

I have one more thing to add to your "facts". The job numbers in November were much lower than anticipated. The job numbers in December were higher than anticipated which means that it equals itself out.
Keep on bringing your selective facts!
"Massive revisions juiced up the November and December totals by 709,000."
