Texas, the energy state, only operates between 40-85 degrees apparently.  @static111, be safe!

It took them years to exit the east coast grid.  It will take them years to get back on, if they are even planning to do so.

So which Congressman goes sideways and shoots the place up?  We should start a pool.  You know it's going to happen.
I'll give better odds on a Dem but I think it's a good bet.

Sure, I’ll play. Because it’s always the libs shooting the place up. The repub that wears an AR15 tie clip with his suit as he mutters and wanders the halls of Congress.

Tongue in cheek.  Imagine if a dem went sideways and did something like that?

It really is dumb.  The metal detector is there for their protection.

Oh and since I thought of the game I pick first.  MTG is first in my draft.

MTG would be most people's top pick if they thought it was going to happen, but IMO it won't be a member of congress to shoot the place up... it will be one of the sub-intelligent rubes radicalized by Fox news into thinking they need to take matters into their own hands, no different than the morons who went to the Capitol on 1/6.

Lara Trump was on Fox news recently, literally saying as much to Americans on the southern border, which is very nice considering what happened at the El Paso Walmart in 2019.

So you're pick in the draft would be the wildcard.  I believe Halifax has 2nd pick though...

Minute Men in AZ years ago?  Groups of a few thousand monitored the border and reported them to agents.

Lauren Bobart is a reasonable pick.  But I’d we’re just talking legislators, I’m playing the odds that it’s a male.  Maybe Gomert.

I actually think the best bet is a Republican(s) getting one or more  of these nuts  in there with a plan to take out as many Dems as possible.  But these nuts are actually trained marksmen and the intent will be to shift the majority and immediately get to passing bills.  Yes, there are some crazy people out there but let’s not forget what the party is really trying to do.

It's becoming a terribly bad joke now.  I apologize.

    Because it's not totally unrealistic.

It's not very nice to joke about it though.  I'd hate for that to happen.

Governor Abbot has his hands full at the moment, he can’t be worried about trivial things like the power grid.
