Hindsight being 20/20, how FUCKING AWESOME is this song now? I remember all the hate it recieved in 13.

    Did it get much hate? I seem to remember it received mostly praise compared to the rest of that album.

    Never saw the hate at all. Maybe the fans that were traveling to a lot of shows wanted something else to start the concert but that was it from memory. Best song on LB and one of the best of the 2000's imo.

    I was never really a fan of the song. Didnt hate it but never loved it. Though, worked very well as a show opener

    This.  I don’t remember people saying they didn’t like the song... just that they wanted more varied openers.  
    That is where I was.  Great song but it was used way too much as an opener.

    I think it's a  top five slow burn from them. If you said Of the Girl or Pendulum I'd be hard pressed but I might choose Pendulum.

    I remember getting the holiday single and thinking the slower version was pretty badass...then I realized I was playing the 45 at 33.
    Try it out sometime.

    A friend of mine gave me the No Jeremy vinyl single. I put it on the turntable and started playing it without realizing the speed should be 45 instead of 33. It sounded crazy, and my wife looked at me like I had lost my mind. I changed the speed and all was right with the world again.
