My records (media mail) are going on 25+ days and counting to reach me
Yeah, this isnt good with RSD just days away. Many shops are going to be selling their allotment online and shipping hundreds of LPs, its going to be dreadful.

I think some of it depends where you live, and sometimes size does matter. I was having tubes get delayed at my Post Office a week, but I mailed records media mail that arrived before the posters did.

Maybe! Los Angeles, has been a black pit for USPS, but I've also had packages from all over have issues getting here.

I have tracking but no dates yet on two posters. We ordered 12 last week. Got the bug again! One has arrived poster tube style from CA (I scored a signed, numbered Ed poster from his 2012 tour w Glen for $40 on ebay) - that came usps and only took 3 days from NorCal. I’m hopeful these won’t get held up but things are so wiley right now who knows. I’m just excited they are on the way at all! 😂✌🏼
I'm trying to get sellers to ship UPS. I don't even trust Priority Mail right now. If you're buying a very valuable poster or record you run the risk of that thing being lost or damaged every day it doesn't arrive. sucks
you all need to try ShipThrifty.com as they give you multiple options for poster shipping. They saved Operation Yellow Ribbon with cheaper care package shipping options

I ended up switching to UPS after a few poster shipments worth $1k all mysteriously disappeared or “weren’t scanned” when dropped off. Luckily they all found their home 2-3 months later.
Still want to support the USPS but the intentional service cuts isn’t going to help anyone anytime soon.

Just my opinion. UPS is great for being on time for the most part. The problem with shipping a poster with UPS is everything they ship is pretty much packages and many heavy, so the chance of your poster getting damaged is greater than USPS. Every time a UPS driver takes a corner stuff is falling off the shelves onto something. USPS is mostly smaller packages and letters.

I can attest to this. I worked for ups in college loading tractor trailers with packages. We broke a lot of stuff. The packages move so fast coming off the conveyor belt that you really don’t have time to consider how fragile something is. You just need to stack it and move on.

For sellers, USPS is much better than UPS when it comes to insurance and filing/winning damage claims. From what I understand, if UPS doesn't pack the item themselves, its pretty hard to get reimbursed for a damaged package.
I was thinking about this the other day. Even though I was into good music one song would always run through my head when I was unloading a trailer. It was by John Mellencamp. " When the walls come tumblin down, when the walls come crumblin crumblin, when the walls come tumblin tumblin down. I'd smash two sorters til they were swimming in boxes falling off the belt. Good times.
Are we still in limbo re the final posters? Waiting for Oakland...
Lol, adding further insult to injury to all those fans (myself included) who planned on attending the Oakland shows!
First we get the tour postponement news which was a crushing blow. Then once we’re over that, they announce that the posters will be made available to purchase only to see that Oakland got the shaft yet again with the worst poster of the tour.
Then posters finally go on sale in alphabetical order only to find out after the OKC sale that Oakland and San Diego wouldn’t go on sale until some time in the fall. Really, you’re gonna make us wait to buy a shitty looking poster I’m only buying for posterity purposes?
And the salt in the wound? No Oakland night 2 Chuck Sperry print, which if I were a betting man, would’ve been the grail of the tour.

Yea, I’m not sour. lol 😂
You can't be upset about having to wait to buy an ugly poster. They're doing you a favor by reducing the amount of time that you'll have to live with that monstrosity in your home.
Not releasing Sperry is a good thing because they can just change the date and use it when the shows actually happen! Same with Emek Los Angeles.

This restaurant sucks! The food is terrible and the portions are too small!
