    Ha.  That isn't so bad.
I don't have a single picture I like from races.  Not the best faces we tend to make

Excellent, running at night, under the light of a head torch is the best.

Late to the party here.  How did you manage to do this mentally?  That alone is impressive.

Agree.  I don't run all night like you :) but my favorite time is 430 AM, alone except for the deer, head lamp shining the way.

Heck yeah. The dark is strangely very cool. Alone with your thoughts.

My next 24 HR effort isn't until June, but I'm already excited for when night falls in the woods.

Fun running in the forrest in the dark with a headlamp(?)

12 kilometres. My fastest friend ran it in 1h12m. The rest at roughly 1h20-30m. I came in last at 1h48m.
After 7 kilometres I was spent. Could barely get over the stones and roots and stuff with my tired spaghetti legs.
The run ended with running up a steep skislope. Haha. I walked it. Which was hard enough after 11 kilometres.
At the finishline they gave you soup and bread.

That looks and sounds like the full trail experience! Great job getting it done when it was tough, that's what it's all about. Looks fantastic

Fun stuff - good on you.

Finished my training with an easy 8 miles this AM.
A 3 and a few 2s left just to keep loose this week before Half next Sat and Full next Sun.

Excited.   Plan to go way slow and just try to finish healthy.  If everything goes above plan perhaps I hit it hard the last 5-10 miles of the marathon.  If not, just stay on pace and accomplish the goal, healthy.

Good luck with both of your races. My sister just started training for a 1/2 marathon. Maybe I will try it one day. Just not motivated enough yet. But I like my short 4-5 mile runs.

    The Bloody Long Walk

I was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef
Animals were hiding behind the Coral
    Except for little Turtle

    Did you do it?

That photo brings back great memories of when I travelled with my brother, early morning runs from our accommodation through the parks to the opera house
