Moving onto the road from the pavement to run around another runner, didn't judge the curb very well, slipped off the curb...epic Judo roll to save the day (but not quite) no harm done

I crashed a month ago. Always fun. (Not really) Glad it was not bad.

Ran a really poor 5k 2 weeks ago. Way off where I wanted to be. Was gassed but just didn't have it. Was super pissed when done.
Been getting after it.
Ran another this AM, in Atlantic City. Somehow took 2m35s off my time from 2 weeks ago and PR-d.

Anger is a gift!
Awesome!! When I am pissed off about something it fuels my runs as well. I have been working on my speed rather than my distance and have seen some improvement over the past month or so. I hope to keep it up.

A lot of queing and waiting in the beginning because ot a lot of stairs. Knowing this I even waitied a few minutes before starting the race. Should have waited like 30 min insteqd at the starting line. Fell once in the mud. Back hurt too. Listened to 80s Bob Dylan. A few ran with their dogs. Cute.

Strong work. The waiting must be taxing on the brain

Looks great, good stuff mate!
Couple of those pics are signs of a great adventure!
^Heck. I'm a lurker here and get inspired to see all this activity. Got me out on a trail, walking, to explore new areas. Never been a runner (unless someone's chasing me like Freddy!) I like being slow and observing. Keep it up all

Rock on, brother!
I struggled today with a 6 mile easy run. Did speed work yesterday and today my body wanted no part of running. Lol. At about 4 miles I stopped and just stood for a minute and the ran out. Funny how sometimes there is a switch that is all on or all down.
Fly out today...4 weeks in a row on the road. Going to be a good challenge to keep things right.

It’s important to listen to your body. I have been away all week. First at a work conference, then at my parents for a few days. I brought my running gear but just didn’t get around to it this time. So it has been a week for me. But once in a while it’s nice to take a week off to recharge. I am home tonight and will start fresh tomorrow morning.

Exploring and adventure is what it's all about! There's nothing better than getting out in the fresh air and seeing what we have around us.

I hope you don't mind me sharing this again guys, I'm not far from my target. Please do not feel obliged, life is tight for many of us.
Training is going well, although today was a toughy but got it done.
