With vaccinations required or a negative test within the window. There is no doubt that by fall any event that complies with that will be allowed to go on. The question again is what events that were ticketed before such a requirement existed will do.

Never doubted that and never said otherwise. Every event now will require that. Again, there is a distinction between events announced and ones announced previously. For new events, you are purchasing a ticket knowing you must comply.

And what is proof of vaccination? That silly little card?  I know a guy..........

Excelsior Pass is not required for admission. At least for now.

Participation in Excelsior Pass is voluntary. New Yorkers can always show alternate proof of vaccination or testing, like another mobile application or paper form, directly at a business or venue.”

    Lol. Ok.

As to your other point.  You’re making it out to be like there is going to be a Supreme Court battle over the venue requiring a vaccination or have a test for people who already have tickets.  That’s not happening.  They will simply announce the policy change and 99% of people will comply and the rest can get a refund.

Ticket policies can change after you purchase. I guarantee you there is language somewhere in the agreement when you click yes to buy that covers it.  It’s happened before.  The dramatic security changes for admittance to sporting events after 9/11 is an example.  I had World Series tickets purchased in August that year and the policies at Yankee Stadium changed dramatically after the attack.

The only thing standing in the way of the show happening is if the numbers don’t continue to trend in the right direction.  We can only hope for the best on that.  Ticket policies will not be impediment.

Ya I am vaccinated! Here are my papers!  Average security screening at a venue: "you are good dude" This is not so simple.

That’s why I mentioned, at least not yet. As several Broadway producers said today, plans are predicated on people being comfortable to sit in a place like a Broadway theater and if they’re not comfortable then they’re not going to buy tickets. So if people start to have a fear that a vaccination requirement isn’t working properly, at least some will stay home.

Go on Twitter.  People regularly brag about buying fake COVID tests to get on airplanes.  I saw one where the person was mad that they paid $75 for it and the screener never even asked to see it.

Not surprised one bit.  For me personally, there is just too much misinformation and bad actors out there to really have a sense of safety.  I have tickets to indoor August shows in Philly, a trip planned to Austin for a large outdoor event, and I will be full vaxed by next week, but I still have my doubts.

It’s crazy.  If there’s a flaw, people will find a way to exploit it. 😐

Tour page says this...Festival rescheduled for 9/18-19/2021. PJ performance date TBD. Really hoping it's Sunday, since DMB SPAC got rescheduled to this weekend and I will be going to that as it's my favorite weekend of the year, would be the perfect weekend to do DMB SPAC Friday and Saturday and PJ Sunday. 2019 DMB headlined Sea Hear Now and they played Sunday night, so that gives me hope PJ will be Sunday as well.

So are GA tickets good for this festival? Didn't buy any when they went on sale and resale tickets for higher end are outrageous at this point.

even if the state allows the festival to go on, do we think the band is still going to play? i'm hesitant after hearing mike and ed on the Faithfull Forum a few weeks ago talking about how even if it's safe, they're going to wait before it's really really safe. will be interesting to see how it pans out.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

NJ has reached 50% of adults vaccinated. Positive tests are down 66% from a month ago.

I would definitely ask for my money back (even though it's probably not possible).
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......
