When my wife came into my office to relay what the Governor shared today that was our discussion point -- how do they pretend to even think about enforcing the distancing at a GA type of concert?  They are going to either ignore that rule, or it will change prior to concerts happening to remove that part.  (Or, the concerts will not happen.) 

That is just dumb to think they would be able to enforce.

It’s quite simple. Concerts will not be cleared in the state of NJ for large GA crowds until the restrictions are lifted. Until then, the show must be staged with a plan that meets the requirements and many such shows are happening this summer.

You can’t enforce it at concert.  But if the numbers continue to drop, the governor will eliminate the social distancing requirement.  That’s the direction we’re headed.  Remains to be seen where the numbers go but as of today it’s promising.

The real question is will Pearl Jam think it is safe for them and their fans to attend.

Very promising to see all of these changes, and there will be plenty of time before September to cancel if things go south.  I was out in Philly today at a large store and then in a few spots in South Jersey, taking pictures, doing some research for work. 

People still masked and distanced.  This is a good thing, imo, and gives me hope.   

Yeah, I am optimistic but also know that this band does not take many chances when it comes to safety.

If I have to sit next to my coworkers 40 hrs a week I want to see a damn live show.

I think in a way, it kind of intentionally allows businesses to ignore the guidelines while the governors can turn their heads away but seem like they still have an action/order in place.  Just telling businesses to “maintain social distance” is way more subjective than “here’s a strict max number cutoff”

Getting closer and closer to seeing this happen. Still a major hurdle to clear and I am not sure there is enough time to do it but here is to hoping.
