My submission for album that is far superior than any other album by the same band.
Atmosphere album When Life Gives You Lemons You Paint That Shit

The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

Great album. Tough call between this and How Will I Laugh.... but this is a stronger record. The songs are still relevant to this day (unfortunately really).

MATT KIM - Grand - Amazoncom Music
Block after Block is still one of my favorites from them but when I heard Good ol' Fashion Nightmare I was hooked.

Most of our favorite albums are at the beginning of a bands career, right?
Any good examples of the last album of a band being there best?
There might be one listed already, but I don't have all the discographies memorized.

Yeah TOOl and 10,000 days.  I prefer that over Lateralus.
but 10000 Days isnt there last album......

I could pick another one or 2, but I'll go with this one right now:

Physical Graffiti By Led Zeppelin Album Cover Location

I still cant image what people thought when that album dropped.

    Discos out, Murders In.
On its own that lyric can be interpreted however you want. In the context of the song it makes complete sense (to me anyways).
That song didn’t come to mind when I was posting, however it is definitely relevant, and the lyric is tongue-in-cheek. “it’s got to be violent to make it a highlight” is in the next verse.

I had these songs more in mind :
Give it Revolution, Send Me Your Money, Alone, Lovely, Emotion No. 13.

As a young man the song Alone in particular helped me through some very difficult times.

Before Snow Patrol became popular in the US.  This is practically a coin flip with Songs for Polarbears, but I enjoy this one just a little bit more.

Such a tough call for The Police... depending on the day I could go with any of the five... but if I had to pick for me its Zenyatta Mondatta.  But Ghost in the Machine is great!
