I'm going on a limb here but I'm going to say they will be pretty close to this years dates.  Scheduling must be extremely tough dealing with so many cities and sporting venues.  It will come.

Personally, I'm surprised RATM rescheduled this tour. I figured the idea of them touring again was more politically motivated than it was about them actually reuniting as a band, but I guess I was wrong. All I know is I'm really going to have to think hard about whether I request a refund for that show or not. I blew $1600 on four crappy seats to the Oakland show as there wasn't many seat options left once I finally got out of the waiting room, only to get screwed on that purchase decision when they announced a second date an hour later.

Same boat at MSG.  No question on refund...but of course there is no way to do it without talking to someone at TM.
They fucking suck the big one.

That's a bummer. For me it was the opposite as my show was initially set to happen on a Tuesday night and now it's happening on a Friday night, so if I decide to keep my tickets I have that going for me at least.

Welcome to the 21st century.   Ticket prices have been exploding for the last 5 years :(

I do wonder with the current virus if it might drop ticket demand (people may no longer have that kind of disposable income).

I got an upgrade.  Went from being on a Friday to being on a Saturday.  Don't have to burn a vacation which is nice.

We kept the PJ tickets for STL due to it only being a 3 hour drive to get there. We can do that any day of the week. We got a refund for OKC because it is a 10 hour drive from home. The date this year was during my wife’s spring break so it was doable. She is a teacher and it is not easy to get multiple days off during the school year. The new date would have to fall during her spring break again and that isn’t very likely.

Prices were fair market value for the show I was going to as was MSG I thought when I looked at that show when it went on sale. I know they had some charity tickets that were expensive. Are those what you guys are talking about or is Australia a different story?

Yeah we paid roughly the same for PJ and Rage tickets in Phoenix for 2020. 22 years ago I paid $50 for a concert ticket and made $4.25 and hour. Now I pay $140 for a ticket and minimum wage has gone up by the same percentage if not more. Nothing’s changed but the age.

$50>$140 is almost triple. $4.25>$7.25 less than double. Minimum wage is historically low based on its purchasing power and I don't see it going up any time soon.

22 years ago not a lot of shows were $50...stones and u2? PJ was about $22 iirc

I guess in Arizona $12.50 is good minimum, whole west coast is higher though. Who the fuck can live on $7.25 and hour in this country? What state? And yeah, Alpine Valley 2000 PJ Ice Bowl was around $50 with the fees, I remember well because I had to eat two tickets for some friends that no-showed

The charity seats were about all that was left by the time I got out of the waiting room, so I scooped up four seats in upper section in the back of the arena thinking "hey, at least I'll be in the building". Then an hour later they announce a second show where I probably could've picked up better seats in the lower sections for half of what I just paid for my seats to the first show! Then days later, I go on TM and see that I could've waited and spent the same amount of money on the secondary market for way better seats.

Thankfully I'm able to get refund on these tickets now and try for better seats once it gets closer to the show.

DMB just announced their rescheduled summer tour for next summer, and added in a few additional dates.

^ Ya, they basically pushed dates for one year ahead. I kept my GA tix instead of the refund option.

Has this wording been the same since the shows were postponed? “The rescheduled date will be announced soon”?

I don’t know, but I have a Quebec ticket in my Apple wallet and something happened to update it last Friday.  It’s not clear what the update is.  No date yet.  But maybe something is bubbling up.  However I would be very surprised if the new date is prior to 2021.

It would be cool if they could play somewhere on October 22, 2020.  But only if safe, which seems dubious right now.

How are we to go about getting refunded? I have two tickets to each LA show and wound up with fairly shitty seats at the back of the floor for both nights so i think i'll get a refund and hopefully find a better option once they reschedule..

If it’s financially doable for you why not keep what you have and when the time comes, try to snatch up better seats and then sell the worse seats. Just an idea, in the building is better than not.

If they were 10 club tickets you should have received an email with the refund request process a few weeks ago.  If they were public sale tickets there’s info on the ticketmaster website about how and when refunds can be claimed.
