Where I've lived there's been many drop off boxes. I honestly don't see any room for argument that someone doesn't vote because you can't afford to take a day off or its too hard to get to a voting booth. You could have gotten a mail in ballot 4 or 5 weeks ago, you could have mailed it in up until about 3 or 4 days ago in any state, and in some you still can. You had 4 or 5 weeks to find a way to a drop off box. I mean, really, how much easier does it need to get?

You realize you can just drop it into the mailbox in front of your house, though, right? They make a big deal of these drop off boxes, but ANY mailbox works just fine. You also can hand it to anyone working at the polls. There’s really no voter suppression with regards to this.... media is making it sound like it’s hard to get to the ballot box, while they drive past several hundred options on their way to this “box.”

Because USPS still works. Has anyone not been getting mail? The only result I've seen is it may take an extra day or 2, but I haven't noticed that. Many states even come with a tracking number on the ballot. Saying you can't vote is just an excuse. Its been made so easy. In person voting has been going on for weeks. Mail voting has been going on for weeks with an option to drop it in. To say I can't afford a day off on November 3rd to go stand in line to vote is no excuse. Most states had weeks. To say there isn't a drop box near me isn't an excuse. You had a month to decide to drop it off or mail it in. There really is no good reason to say someone can't vote, its a month-long window now with multiple methods. If you want to vote, go vote. Stop making excuses for people who are too lazy to.

Saying you can't vote is just an excuse. Its been made so easy. In person voting has been going on for weeks. Mail voting has been going on for weeks with an option to drop it in. To say I can't afford a day off on November 3rd to go stand in line to vote is no excuse. Most states had weeks. To say there isn't a drop box near me isn't an excuse. You had a month to decide to drop it off or mail it in. There really is no good reason to say someone can't vote, its a month-long window now with multiple methods. If you want to vote, go vote. Stop making excuses for people who are too lazy to.
