    I don't know. That's pretty subhuman (even by Trump standards) to call soldiers that died in war "losers."     It helps when you have a frame of reference of when wars took place, why they happened, and who were our allies.  Trump said this..

    "The closest thing is in 1917, they say, the great pandemic. It certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people, probably ended the Second World War," Trump said. "All the soldiers were sick. That was a terrible situation."

    And from the same Atlantic article, But Trump, on that same trip, asked aides, “Who were the good guys in this war?” He also said that he didn’t understand why the United States would intervene on the side of the Allies.

    I don't know if that's true or not.  The other day I posted the Military Times poll of approval of Trump and it's in the high 30's.  Trump needs these votes.  So any chipping away of his support can make a difference.
