I would recommend Normal People (BBC here in the UK and Hulu I believe in the US).  Irish drama based on a book (which I haven't read).  12 episodes of 20-25 minutes each so an easy binge.  Follows Marianne and Connell from ages 17 to about 22.

Another is Gangs of London.  Far fetched violent gangster show.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Boardwalk Empire (HBO) has not been mentioned yet. Steve Buscemi at his finest. This was one of my favorite shows on TV when it aired. Highly recommend.

We’re almost done with season 1 of Mindhunter on Netflix.  The season continues to get better as it goes along.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

Devs and Plot Against America on HBO Go.

Both short, 6 episodes I think, but worth it.
Music is what feelings sound like.

I just read it's suspended and no 3rd season on the horizon.  We'll definitely watch through the second season.  Interesting they are involving the stories of actual serial killers in this series.

Yes, enjoyed it as well. Some really good actors and characters.

I felt the same way.  I had a tough time through episodes 2-3, but after they started getting involved in trying to solve cases with local police, it got much more interesting for me.

I started Narcos last night.  2 episodes in, I think it's great.  My wife likes it, but doesn't like the sub-titles.  Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Another great series, have finished all of them now, goes right into Narcos Mexico. I didn't find the sub titles a big deal, they always short conversations

Not sure if these were already mentioned:

Bosch (Amazon) - LAPD Detective story

Afterlife (Netflix) - Ricky Gervais....sad as hell, but also very funny!....just saw the previous post mentions this show.

The Office - UK version....probably the funniest comedy of all time!

Derek is very sweet and funny. Big surprise from Gervais there.

My wife and I love the movie of What We Do In the Shadows.  We've seen a handful of episodes from the TV series and it's very funny.  I love Matt Berry, he was hilarious on IT Crowd.
