I Wish the Band Would Just Raise Ticket Prices to Market Value

They don't tour much and I rather pay a lot of money, $500 or more, for pit or good lowers to one show than have no other options to get good tickets.

Hell no. I would rather miss 20 shows because of bad luck and great prices than be forced to pay 500 to get in the building.

No offense, but that is a terrible idea.

Lol that would kill the tenclub for sure.  I could see myself explaining to people, “yeah you pay $20 per year... the biggest perk is that you get the chance to buy tickets for $500”

There was a lottery, a verified fan sale, a public sale, and now a fan 2 fan sale. You had plenty of options to get tickets.

If you're willing to spend $500+ to go to a show, there are tickets available on StubHub for both NYC and Denver. Or, hell, Oklahoma City has both Ticketmaster and F2F tickets available at face value. You could probably do a day trip for right around $500.

I would say asking for a price hike is the exact opposite of entitlement.  Based on the demand, tickets are definitely too cheap.  I agree a price hike would be a good thing.  $500 would be too high.

Those of us who can afford $500 concert tickets can also afford to take some Ls every now and then.

No shit? I understand this is born out of frustration due to missing out on tickets, but c'mon.  That's one of the worst things I've read on this site, and that's saying a lot.

In the event you’re not trolling, and are actually serious with this ridiculous post - don’t worry, there’s a way you can overspend for tickets and do some good while you’re at it:

Bottom line, if you can spend $500 on a ticket, you would have been wise enough to have held a tenclub member # and applied to get into one of the easy obvious shows to win, ie any show other than Baltimore or MSG, and been willing to travel.

What were Nashville's final odds in the lottery? I don't think many people who opted for best available and made it their first priority missed out.

I think it was like 19% GA and 85% RES. May be thinking of a different show though.

Exactly.  Somehow I have tickets to 8 shows this year so far and all at face value.  7 I got through 10c and one 10c through a friend.  Tickets aren’t scarce unless referring to 1 particular show in NYC (and you can pay $$$ and get in).

Or pay the current face value for a European ticket and fly out there for the $500.

NO.  The solution to this problem is to play stadiums.  That way the ticket supply will meet the demand.

Even bigger no. At that point I would rather pay more. Not $400 more, but more.

The obvious solution is 50+ shows per year... but that ain’t happening.
