Graham changes vote to support witnesses.

has to be a stunt of some kind.
He is likely going to push for more witnesses for Trump's defense.

So are they going to call Pence now? I mean that is the one to go for right? I expect the Repubs to bog this all down but I think the Dems have the upper hand here even if things will not change vote wise too much.

What about Tuberville? I don't know how that works with him being a juror though.

Of course McConnell is going to vote to acquit.

I foolishly thought a few dead cops might move the needle for conservatives and their apologists... lol

So many options. McCarthy and Cruz up there squirming would be nice too. I bet the Repubs think this is great since they can bring up AOC and Pelosi. AOC will be solid but Pelosi might botch it pretty bad.

So it has to be a majority to allow a witness to testify. Does this mean Harris is the tiebreaker to push through or does this mean a 50-50 allows for no witness?

Yeah I believe that is still true. I heard them saying earlier she would cast the tie breaking vote today if no republicans joined in.

So, what's the over/under on how many Repubs vote to Convict?
I'd set the line at 10.5, and I'd bet the under.
People would start betting the under in a hurry.  The line would be about 4 within a couple of hours.
Yeah the under is stone cold mortal lock, unfortunately.

I would put it at 5.5. Although this new McCarthy call could change that....fucking call him in as a witness gosh dang it.
5.5 is what I think too.
Still taking the under. I'm going Collins, Murkowski, Mitter, and Cassidy.
Yeah, after the Witness Vote it does look like it will be Under.

Well I hope everyone is ready for Trump 2024 and whatever chaos he tries to cause over the next four years.  This guy has never and likely will never be held accountable for anything.  Can’t help but feel that our system is a total disgrace.  We still have civil and criminal courts, but my money is on more of the same, acquittals and slaps on the wrist.
